Tim at Eckercise is redefining what it means to be a Personal Trainer. Too often you find individuals who eyes are on the clock more so than they're on your workout. In my time with Tim, which is about a year now, I've seen extreme changes in me both physically, mentally and emotionally. I sleep better, feel better and lift stronger and harder than before. My endurance levels are up and my body physically looks different. I haven't had these results with many before and it is due to Tim's take on Wellness. With all the overflowing amounts of misinformation on workouts, nutrition, cardio and supplements, Tim is the voice of clarity in the loud, noisy world of exercise. Tim is beyond a doubt someone that personalizes your workout, focusing on what you need and eliminating what you don't. He takes every aspect into consideration so the more you partner with him, the more he can help you achieve your goals. His equipment is clean, fresh and well maintained. He's always focused on customer improvement an the dedicated space ensures that your workout is key. He also keeps logs to monitor your progress and ensure you're reaching your goals. Tim is there for you. If I wasn't moving to Atlanta, I'd be using Tim and definitely trying out his group classes and all of the exciting products and services that he has coming later this year. I know that even during my relocation, Tim will continue to check in and be a support model for me as I find the next phase of my body, mind and spirit transformation
I have worked out at many different gyms and bootcamps always looking to achieve the same goal to Lose fat build lean muscle. It wasn't until I met Devon that I actually began to make real progress to my goal. She is truly great at what she does. She checks in with multiple times a week to make sure I am on track with my nutrition goals in addition to my training with her. Every time we train its something new, which I really enjoy beacuse it never gets boring. She incorporates parts of boxing, cardio, weight training and conditioning to every session. I am going to be walking down the aisle Aug 30th for my big day, and my major focus area has been my upper body and arms. I have toned and lost inches in my arms/chest in just 2 months. Devon knows when to push me. shes encouraging when she sees me trying to master a new workout and gives me the confidence to try hard and attempt new things I never would have done or attempted on my own.
I have been training at Fitpro Studio at Amity for 3 yrs. Tony and the other trainers are excellent, they explain how nutrition and cardio & weight training help you achieve your goala. I Have developed a great friendship with owner/Trainer Tony - He has a wonderful passion to help people no matter what their individual goals are. They also have a lot of different classes which helps motivate you so you do not get bored with your workouts.
Jesse was able to diagnose my mobility problems correctly and worked with me to get me more fit so that I was able to get through corrective surgery with minimun down time. The cardio workouts helped get my good cholesterol up and improve my stamina and overall wellbeing. I was very happy that all I had to do is show up and my one hour workout was fully planned out. He is very good at helping me stretch and preventing injuries. I would recommend Jesse to anyone who is willing to work hard and I'm sure they won't be dissapointed with the results. Maria Z.
I started training with Gary about a year and a half ago and continue to enjoy the challenges he brings over and over again. I have been working out for about 12 years and feel the training I have had over the last year has made the most overall difference. Gary's knowledge in nutrition along with his strength/cardio routines has made a noticeable change in the way I look and feel. I would highly recommend him for whatever your fitness goals may be.
We are like the perfect storm, alike in so many ways (not all the best ways), with that said, I have worked out with many trainers in the past and Matt is no holds barred. he constantly thinks outside the box and reinvents workouts. Because of him I can do a ten minute plank and my stamina is better than it has been. He will train boxing, yoga, cardio, weight training, obstacle courses etc., there is no limit. He will train outside, inside and side ways :). He trains in a gym, in a school yard and at a friends house. He pushes you and does not kiss your butt so you know when you did well. He really is the perfect trainer for me. His ultimate goal is to make you the best athlete you can be. He tailor's workouts to each individual person and will tone them down if he sees the need to.. His competitive spirit i thrive on.and tries to be as flexible with his hours as possible. I strongly encourage anyone who truly likes to work out and wants intensity to hire him.
I have been taking yoga classes for many years as a form of exercise and to complement my weight lifting and cardio workouts. But two years ago when I started taking classes with Stacey, yoga became more than exercise, it changed my soul as well as my body. Stacey has taught me so much about yoga and how it works with your mind and body. Stacey is truly gifted and an amazing teacher! I have also had Stacey perform Reiki on me after I was in a car accident - it had truly helped me heal faster and the sessions are so relaxing!! She performs Reiki on my children also and they love it! Stacey is a remarkable and experienced yoga teacher that will show you a whole new world!
I have shoulder issues and an old back injury. Jose was very knowledgeable in working with someone with injuries (as well as those without!). He created a few different work out routines for me so I had some options to work with in order to strengthen without causing stress to injured areas. He is really helpful and great to work with. He is encouraging and friendly, and will work with you in a variety of areas including strengthening, flexibility, cardio, and protein/calorie intake. I recommend him as a trainer.
I have been training with Robin at Diesel Body Fitness for over three years now. We first started personal training when I was 5 months pregnant and hoping to stay in shape while pregnant. She was able to tailor my workouts to achieve this. After my son, my goals changed to getting back into "pre-baby" shape!!! Whether it be customized food plans, boot camp classes, and a mix of strength and cardio training, Robin has always pushed me and guided me to be able to achieve my fitness goals.
I met Michael when I became a member at Title Boxing in Milford. After taking a few of his kickboxing classes and hearing that he was one of the top 3 trainers at the gym I decided to try private training with him to gain muscle and lose fat. Before starting our sessions, he shared his personal weight loss journey and showed me a few "before" and "after" pictures. i was beyond impressed at his dedication to going to the gym every day for hours and how quickly he was able to drop 100 pounds and even more amazed that he didn't hire help but instead chose to learn about eating clean and taking care of the body on his own. After our first rigorous but fun session (although excited I was SO NOT READY for all the cardio and exercises with new equipment I had never used before...felt like death) I felt rejuvenated and ready to take on more! Over the next few months I continued with sessions twice a week until my training package expired with the club. To continue taking private sessions at a cheaper rate, I decided to end my membership seeing as it was no longer needed since I can still do boxing with michael outside Title. Beyond happy with my progress so far and will probably continue to train with Michael for another year or so until I get the hang of it on my own.
After two children, Jana helped me get back into shape. I feel stronger, have more energy, better muscle definition and an overall improved fitness. I enjoy the cardio workout I get from her zumba classes and the muscle tone I've gained from her weekly bootcamp and I actually look forward to my weekly classes! I needed help with my diet.....and that was that! I go the gym 4-5 days a week for the past 4 years and I couldn't lose my belly. I tried more cardio, less cardio, more weights, less weights, I cut carbs, tried shakes and counted every calorie I ate (and drank) and I always ended up right back where I started. until I met Tyrese from Better Personal Training/Nutrition (at the counter of my local breakfast diner of all places). That's when I laughed! "Ok, let me hear it! He told me the basics and I agreed, I'd give it a shot (what the heck, I tried everything else). We exchanged numbers and agreed on a time to speak. That was April 3rd. I was 6'3 285lbs and 39years old at the time. 3 months later I'm still 39, still 6'3 but now I'm 250lbs and I feel great. I'm no longer sluggish, I've got more energy and way more strength. I'm eating the foods I love and I'm never hungry. I happily married and my wife is ecstatic with my new look but another great benefit is that I recently started getting that "second look" that I used to get when I was a younger man. Great for self esteem. I love my wife and would never go outside of our relationship but I must say, it's nice to get invited to the party (so-to-speak) even tho I'd never go to the party. About a month ago, my wife started using the app and now she's fitting into last years bathing suit, down 8lbs already and looking great, also our love life has never been better. I trained with Casey for approximately 4 years. In that time Casey has dramatically improved my strength and cardio along with the fact I lost 15lbs. I feel great have more energy and look even better. I truly enjoyed my time training with Casey and would continue except for the fact that he relocated out of state. If you had told me six months ago that not only would I be hitting the studio four to five times a week, but it would be a highlight of my day, I would’ve told you you were nuts. But that was before a friend recommended Total Body Pilates and Yoga (TBPY). Coach Nicole makes fitness a fun, turnkey operation. You don’t have to purchase, maintain, or store fitness equipment, nor you have to figure out what workout to do -- you just show up to a clean, nurturing environment and do the work. It’s different, varied, and short enough that it doesn’t feel repetitive and boring, and intense enough that you’ll see steady gains in functional fitness. I’m significantly more flexible, energetic, better toned, and twenty pounds lighter after just four months. Furthermore, not only am I stronger, but I’m better able to use that strength. At each session, I find I work harder and care more about doing well physically. Instruction is clear and easy to follow, and they carefully monitor and adjust and improve positioning when you don’t quite get it the first time.
Mitchell provided a great cardio-conditioning workout. It felt great and I learned new hip flexor stretches to incorporate in my workouts.
I have always struggled with a consistent program. When Natalie told me she was starting her own personal trainer business I was lucky enough to become her first client. My starting weight was 232lbs. As I type this I am 205lbs! My strength and cardio have gone up more than I ever thought they would. The training knowledge that she has is tremendous and my results speak for themselves! Her positive, never give up attitude is infectious. Reginald Harrison has been my personal trainer for over a year. We work out three to four times a week. The workouts include lots of strength and endurance training and a little cardio. Every training session is well thought out, and weâve never done the same workout twice. Reggie makes exercise challenging and interesting, never boring. He spends a lot of time outside of training preparing for our sessions. He balances my program so I work every major muscle group each week without overtraining any of them. He pushes me beyond my preconceived ideas of what Iâm capable of, while always prioritizing safety and paying attention to how I feel. In just over a year, the amount of weight I can lift has increased exponentially. It is obvious that I have added muscle. My body is more toned and defined than ever. My stamina is through the roof. I stopped taking both high blood pressure and cholesterol pills six months after we began working out together. Reggie has instilled in me a love of exercise that I never had before, and Iâve begun challenging myself with even more activity outside of training. Sometimes I can barely recognize myself. Reggie cares deeply about and believes in what he does, and he is very invested in his clientsâ progress. I highly recommend Reggie as a personal trainer. He will work very hard to inspire you, to help you achieve your goals, and to go beyond them.
I joined Sculpt in December of 2014 and can't say enough good things about this place. I started with training and was a little nervous when they said classes were included, but I tried it and LOVED it. Such an awesome alternative to running for cardio! Thanks guys!
