I never did Yoga and at 69 I thought it was crazy to start but my daughter insisted we go together just a couple of times... so I did and I now I even go without her. All the teachers are kind, attentive and very knowledgeable. I go to the Gentle Yoga class where I try to master the basic poses with the guidance, and encouragement from the teacher and always feel great at the end of each session. It is both a calming and invigorating experience. Another good thing about this studio is that they have several levels and day and evening hours so I always find a class for me. I can't imagine anyone at any level not benefiting from a class at the Brewster Serene Scene Yoga, give it a try
Ann is both an outstanding teacher and Reiki therapy provider. One of Ann's gifts is clearly articulating what Reiki is about, and what one can expect in the course of treatment. In my experience, Ann provided "hands on" Reiki, which is energetic work. I also received treatment which was "sent" to me. This also manifested as energetic work in my body. The outcomes for me varied in time frames, however, I experienced positive results and pain relief from each treatment. Thank you, Ann, for demonstrating such compassion and giftedness. Dayna is such an amazing soul. After only a few phone calls she created the most inviting yoga and meditation session for my friends and I (on the day of my wedding). She was flexible, helpfully instructional and has the most wonderful soothing voice. She brought a wonderful sense of calm to our stressful day. So far, Catherine and I have only met one time. As it was our first meeting and we were both rather chatty, we ran over the time allotted, but I never felt that she was pushed to leave early. She was focused and dedicated to providing me general information on what we would work on as we move forward. We also spent some time on yoga so she could check out how my body was working in order to get and idea on what we would work on as we continue this journey. I am looking forward to our next meeting.
