My experience from quote request to grooming was top notch. I put out a request on Thumbtack, Cathy got back to me within 5 minutes. An hour later, she was at the door to pick up my 2 labs. She washed them, groomed them, and put cute Christmas scarves on them, then brought them back home. This was so convenient considering I have two small children and have difficulty managing the dogs and the kids while bringing them to the groomer. The dogs came home clean and very well groomed. They also both loved Cathy and required extra pets before she left. We have found our groomer!! Thank you so much Cathy!! Bruschi and Boomer look great!! :)
Excellent, Robin is a great dog trainer. I can see the difference in my puppy only after 2 trainings!
I needed help to modify my over excitable champion boxer, CH high tech Duffy Semper Fi at Marlboro. Trainer Displayed great concern and caring while training my dog. Trainer has great abilities to analyze the dog behaviors. Wholly recommend for anyone who needs help with an overzealous dog.
For the first day my son and myself learned a lot about our 2 dogs, was easy, and the trainer was well prepared to teach the dogs and both of us a lot of good stuff, that we can use for life with our dogs Thank You :)
John has an objective eye and vast knowledge for training any and all dog types. He truly understands the relationship between a dog and their owner and during training he provides timely and constructive feedback. John helped both myself and my husband be more aware of our body language and how our mannerisms set the tone with how our dog reacts and empowered us to be the "alpha" dog so to speak in order to have a well balanced dog. Without hesitation we would recommend John as a qualified trainer. Beth and Scott D.
When I found Christine on Thumbtack, I was at the end of my rope. My boyfriend and I had adopted a 1 year old American bulldog mix from a rescue in NY and were having trouble getting him to listen to us or bond with us, were experiencing a lot of behavioral issues and even some aggression and were considering bringing him back because we felt we were in over our heads. We had reached out to the rescue we adopted him from for help finding a trainer and they kept blowing us off. The rescue claimed to have spent donor money on his training, but all he had really learned was how to get treats and would not even do basic commands like sit or stay if food wasn't in the picture. Finally, in desperation, I googled dog trainers in my area and thumbtack popped up. I filled out a form and within minutes I received a reply from Christine DiCarlo at Canine Communications. I emailed her and she said I could call her any time so I did so immediately. Over the phone she could sense how desperate I felt and she drove an hour to come meet with us. She immediately assessed the situation and explained to me what was going on and how to fix it. We have been working with her for about 6 weeks and both humans and dogs are doing much better and have settled into our new lives. We even adopted another rescue puppy and Christine told me exactly how to introduce the pup to the dog and the home, thus saving us future problems. There have been a couple of desperate phone calls to Christine and every time I'm freaking out, she talks me off the ledge and everything settles back down. Without Christine, I don't think we would have gotten through the rough patches. She has trained me in what to do to have well behaved and secure dogs and in how to read my dogs because before her, I have to admit, I was clueless and an emotional wreck. We are all so lucky to have found her and her services. She really cares about us and our dogs, she knows what she's doing and she has saved my family and my sanity!
First session of dog training. Trainer was prompt, knowledgeable and articulate.
Michele is very knowledgable when it comes to training dogs. She came one time so far and my almost 1 year old Golden (who pulled me down the stairs and broke 3 of my fingers) is now walking very calmly on a leash.
Debbie was wonderful! She clearly cares very much for dogs and it shows through her work. She’s very knowledgeable, helpful and sweet. We have worked with many different trainers and my pup was the most comfortable around Debbie. That’s the most important to me.
The most important lesson that I learned while training my dog at Canine Cadre is communication. Lenny and Mary Ellen of Canine Cadre are excellent in this area. Once the basics were mastered with my dog, I was able to teach my dog to be obedient with hand gestures through Canine Cadre classes. The most important thing to me is Lenny and Mary Ellen has been there throughout the life of my dog. My Carla (Rottweiler) will be 11 years old this October. I highly recommend Canine Cadre.
Bob is a magical dog trainer. You are totally memorized by just watching him train your dog. You feel safe and comfortable with his training and he always gets the job done. There is no one else compared to his training he makes the impossible happen. He's your man.....
I highly recommend Sarah's Pet Sitting. I have used their services to walk my greyhound and Chinese Cresteds. They are always a pleasure to correspond with and my fur babies and not so fur babies ( hairless dogs) love them. I trust them in my home without reservation. My greyhound is a special needs animal and they are wonderful with him. Most recently I became mom to a beautiful Sphynx cat. My dog did not get along well with our new addition. So I hired their pet trainer to help with the adjustment and they are progressing nicely. Thank you Sarah! Cyndie- Meriden CT
Amazing!! I couldn't be happier with the training my two shepherds recieved. They are wonderful off leash, I can bring them anywhere! I get compliments on how well they are trained all the time. If you want high quality training of your dog you've found the perfect place. I would and will take all my future dogs here. Titan (17 months when trained) and Layla (7 months when trained) are still well behaved and listen. Yet act like dogs, they still have their own personalities, that was no broken from them in training as some other trainers have done.
Gina has helped me both with an eight week basic training class for my reactive do. She has also helped me with issues I have had with my dog at home. She is always available for my questions and offers knowledgeable advice. Gina gives positive feedback and encouragement. My dog is a work in progress so I know I will continue to contact her in the future for help and suggestions.
Terri Corigliano 5 starAfter losing our 14 year old lab mix - "the perfect dog" - we turned to a rescue organization and were convinced to take Chloe. She was anxious and crazy! We tried a number of trainers over a 2 year period and finally were convinced that our lives would be forever controlled by her. Then - by some miracle - we met Bonnie. We enrolled Chloe in Bonnie's "Board and Train" Program for 5 days and followed Bonnie's advice and guidance when Chloe returned home and we had a new dog! Chloe now comes when we call her, responds to all commands we give her, greet strangers civilly and politely - and the list goes on. I have never seen a person SO commited to giving her all to improve a dog's life and the lives of it's humans. Bonnie is professional, honest, caring, ethical and compassionate. She knows what dogs are feeling by their behavior - so she treats the underlying problems and it allows a dog to relax. They become confident in the skills and confidence of their pack leaders - us! :) Thanks, Bonnie -- you are the best. I want to tell all of Connecticut!! You owe it to yourself and your dog to do this program! That's A Good Dog LLC south eastern ct
Best dog behavior trainer you will fine, makes your puppy/and owners feel a new understanding of needs and expectations. If you have tried "trainers" please give Em4Dogs a try, you will be amazed with the results.
Perfect! Amazing! Above and beyond! Andrea is forever welcome in our home and will be our forever pet sitter! We have three crazy dogs and going on vacation is hard, we don't enjoy kenneling our dogs and having family take all three is a hassle so we decided to try to find a pet sitter and couldn't be happier. We were nervous having a stranger come to our home, especially with one of my dogs being aggressive towards new people and one being only six months old but after meeting Andrea, we knew she could handle it. Andrea responded immediately to all my texts and sent me videos of the dogs and I didn't even ask! She made us feel so comfortable that our home and dogs were taken care of and allowed us to enjoy our vacation. The best part of all when we came home the dogs were tired out and we could all relax before our busy schedules started again. Thank you so much, Andrea!!!!
I am a friendly dog sitter and walker, and I will also provide training if interested. I love God, and I'm very trustworthy with your loved one.
