Thomas is the best! I hired Thomas via Thumbtack for private cooking lessons as a Christmas present for my wife. He arrived on time and together we learned how to cook a wonderful and scrumptious entree, side and desert. Everything was so delicious and flavorful and the best part was that Thomas taught us how to easily replicate for future entertaining. Thomas is polite, courteous and VERY professional. You will feel very comfortable having him in your home as if an old friend has shown up for a cooking lesson. Thomas cleaned up everything and we had the rest of such a special night to ourselves. What a treat. I highly, highly recommend Thomas Hudson. His food is sooooo good!

I hired Mitch to do a cooking class for 5 girls from 7-10 years old (surprise) . He was very enthusiastic, asked what the girls like the most to cook and offered a few choices of menu that I could pick from. He gave me a list all things that i need to buy for the menu ahead of time. on the day of the class, he arrived on time, played a game right at the door with girls to guess what was he doing in our home.Originally he set the time to be 2-3 hours but he stayed for 4 hours and did not rush anything in order to finish early and his price stayed the same! Mitch started teaching basics of how to hold a knife, how to cut and let all the girls using his knife and cutting tomatoes and onions for salsa, cutting bacon for Pasta Alfredo, etc. He mixed up cooking with fun jokes with girls and gave a history of the food or ingredients where it was appropriate. He was super patient with all the silly or serious questions from the girls. our menu was pasta Alfredo, soft and hard tacos with ground meat and eggless chocolate mouse for dessert. we had a great meal and leftover for the next day. Mitch cleaned up kitchen and utensil well during and after cooking so i did not have to clean at all. I have recommended him to my friends and would hire Mitch again.

Debbie is WONDERFUL and I would highly recommend her to everyone I know. I signed up for a series of 6 cooking classes with her with the goal of forcing myself to try new foods and learning new recipes - I definitely accomplished both! Everything she taught us was health conscious and tasted delicious! I am looking forward to the next set of 6 classes with Debbie!

Denise did a 16 week program with my company. I truly have learned many things. The food industry processing of unnature foods. Denise taught us about reading labels, eating the right foods, the body needs for water and even being aware of your mental state. Denise has shared a wealth of information even written material that I refer. She is an awsome lady and teacher easy to talk to and she has been helpful even after the training has ended. I'm hoping my company bring her back. I'm sure she has more to share. I wish to hear more.

We hired Lina and Franco to cate four small, intimate wedding and were so pleased with the food and their warm and professional nature, we have since had them out to our home to run a cooking class for us and some friends. They are the real deal! Incredible and authentic. The food is fantastic but you also get a cultural experience when you work with them. Highly recommend!

I have taken two cooking classes with Chef Celeste Borelli at her boutique studio kitchen in Avon and could not have been more pleased with both of them! Chef Borelli has a warm and inviting personality and is truly gifted at turning fresh, local ingredients into elegant, yet simple to prepare, dishes that I have made myself several times since the classes. Chef Jenn demonstrated a level of versatility and professionalism that can't be matched when she held a Thai cooking class for my bachelorette. With last minute notice and requests we were sure we would have had to compromise on she came through with exactly what we wanted. To top it off she did so quickly, and more flexibly than we could have ever asked for! She was knowledgeable, fun, and she fit right in with my crazy group of girlfriends making for an amazing night! I have used her tips and tricks frequently in my own kitchen and have used her recipes multiple times in my home and they are always a hit! Highly recommended!

It's very rare to find a cooking teacher as patient, as smart, and as fun as Rosa Ross. We held a Peking Duck class at our home and enjoyed the experience immensely. Rosa took the time to explain both what to do and the underlying principles of why we were doing it -- something rare among teachers today. Our class had people of varied levels and we all were able to learn and participate. From basic knife skills to crafting the perfect dumpling to cleaning and curing the duck to some amazing cooking techniques and shortcuts, Rosa was there to help us along the way. And much laughter and delicious food ensued.
