Barb's Continuo Home Music Lessons provided home lessons to my son. Not only was the instructor very talented, but they knew exactly how to interact with a young person to keep his interest throughout the lesson and encouraged practicing beyond the lesson. Barb is always prompt and goes out of her way to accomodate scheduling issues.

Tommy has been an excellent teacher. He mixes just the right amount of theory into the lessons when it is appropriate to explain what we are working on. He is also very personable and easy to work with. I can honestly say it was a great find when I found Tommy.

I have studied under David Gleba for over ten years now, and his depth of knowledge concerning classical keyboard performance and composition never ceases to amaze me. This along with his ample patience and kindness make him perfect for both beginners and advanced students alike. As a former concert pianist and practicing composer, few know their craft better than him; and once you get to know him, you may realize no one has a more profound knowledge and understanding of eighteenth century classical music than Mr. Gleba. Thus, for both piano and composition/music theory lessons, you cannot find a better teacher than David. Placing me under his direction was definitely one of the best decisions my family ever made, and you would miss an amazing opportunity to greatly improve your musicality and acquire a wonderful friend if you did not first contact Mr. Gleba.

I was a bit nervous starting piano lessons in my 70s but Jonathan has given me such encouragement and praise that I am eager to take on increasingly challenging pieces. He is very attentive both to my strengths and to things I need to work on. Lessons are stimulating and very rewarding. I have seen him perform in groups and solo piano - he is superb!

Sandy is giving vocal lessons to our 14 year old daughter, and also produced a 3 song demo CD in a recording studio. Sandy has developed our daughter's love for singing to a very high level, and she performs at recitals and open mics whenever possible. Sandy developed a budget and timetable to record a 3 song demo and press kit to showcase the recordings. The project was done on time, on budget, and the final recording is excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend Sandy for both private vocal lessons and as a music producer.

My boys have been taking piano lessons from Lynne for almost 5 years now. Lynne is great with kids and is flexible in accommodating a lesson time that works with a family's busy schedule. Lynne is great at challenging kids to do more such as trying a song outside of their piano lesson book. We always enjoy the year end recital. Highly recommend Lynne!

Rob is an excellent instructor and takes a personal interest in honing both your technical skills and your understanding and appreciation of what transforms a sequence of notes and chords into music. In addition to lessons, Rob is extremely generous with his time and goes out of his way to organize jams that allow students to learn to play in a band setting.

Mrs. Barone is a great instructor.  Mrs. Barone teaches his students in a patient and understanding way and he provides and helps to build a strong foundation for his students.  Besides, Mrs. Barone has broad and deep knowledge in the classical guitar specifically and music in general.  I encourage you to enroll and take lessons with him because he will help you to achieve your goal in the future.

It was so easy to find and the cutest cat greeted us once we parked and walked us to the door. That's a welcoming committee! It was a very cozy space, like home or the home of a good friend. The staff was super friendly and my boys will be starting their lessons this coming week!

Katie teaches out of her very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. Her studio location is convenient and easily reached off of I-95. After one meeting, I can say that Katie is an excellent musician and teacher, and, thankfully for me, is very patient. Her observations and suggestions seem to be spot on and helpful. I’m looking forward to studying with Katie for some time to come.

Mrs. Allie connects with kids and provides piano lessons in a stress free way which was very different from our experience in other settings. She is good at identifying children's strengths and working at the level they are at without judgement. Parents are welcomed to observe lessons which is also unusual but allows you to have a sense of what is going on so that you can support your child at home.

Christina and Howard have had a huge impact on my daughter's music development, I really can't believe how fortunate we've been to work with two such dedicated, experienced, and enthusiastic musicians. My daughter studied both piano and voice. In Voice, she had the opportunity to do live performances in formal venues, including duets, working with live classical accompaniment by Howard, in both the Pop Radio Hits and Broadway music that first attracted her to singing all the way to singing arias in Italian and French before she was 12! And she loved it! I loved it because Christina really brings out the best in each student in such an enthusiastic and encouraging way. And Howard worked with my daughter first as a piano student, from very young and very beginner, to playing sonatinas. I know that she carries this with her for a lifetime of enjoyment ,including the music theory that she learned, and the patient, professional, passionate and peaceful approach that she learned with has affected the way she approaches many things in her life. I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to have worked with the Rovics' studio and had access to such talented teachers in my area.

I came to Dan Shaw as an intermediate level, older adult student. Dan is very flexible in working on specific musical styles of interest to me. He teaches in a confident and friendly manner, with good results advancing my piano technique and knowledge of music theory. At every lesson Dan offers interesting insights that open my eyes and ears to the musicality of a score and to emotions buried in the sounds of a composition. I highly recommend studying with Dan. -----M.Z.

Dan has been an excellent piano instructor for me, my 10-year-old daughter, and my 5-year-old son. I want my children to stick to piano and so it was important to me that we find an instructor they like -- and they really, really like Dan. I appreciate that he gets a sense of the kind of music his students like and tries to introduce music that will be both challenging and fun. He is patient and kind, but still pushes us to improve. I find his feedback on what and how to practice particularly helpful for moving a piece forward. I'm really impressed with how much we have learned in such a short time -- and how much we can already play.
