Chris Hamel is an amazing DJ, Musician and Lighting Technician. Two years ago I founded Affordable Affairs, a network group of wedding and event vendors, and aggressively pursued Chris to join us as our DJ. I have never known anyone more professional in his field. He is just a class act through and through and I speak for all my partners in Affordable Affairs when I say he is as good as it gets! We hire him, and will continue to hire him, as a DJ, Musician and Lighting Technician as often as he can work with us!
Barbara helped us find a piano teacher for our 2 kids. Great communication and we are very happy with the outcome. My daughters love their new teacher.
I had been trying to find the right classical guitar teacher for years before taking lessons with Tim. Honestly, I have made more progress in a few months with Tim than I had made in nearly eight years of various other teachers. His love of music and teaching are evident in the fact that he really takes the time to understand your background (musical and otherwise), your musical interests, and your personal goals. He then tailors his approach with each lesson to ensure that you progress steadily as a musician through sound technique and theory rather than simply teaching you how to play songs. I highly recommend Tim to anyone interested in becoming a proficient guitarist in any style.
I have known Chris for many years as a leader and director of musicians. I know he is a passionate and talented musician. He will wholehearted work with high musical standards to fulfill his commitment to you. +Terry Wiles - Bishop
Tom is an accomplished, and very pleasant musician with lots of ability and knowledge. He is able to simplify concepts so that I am beginning to know a set of chords so that I can play a song on my ukelele, which is my goal. Perfect!!
We were invited to a wedding reception about a year ago and she was there as a solo artist doing easy listening backround music then when it came time for dancing she lit the room up with a great variety of 50's -current music so we went on line to look her up for an anniversary party we were planning and she was already booked for that night so were we lucky to push it back to the following Saturday when see was avail. This woman really knows how to entertain a crowd and is very easy on the eyes too!! After talking with her she also told us she tours with a 12 pc. horn band all over the country, I talked her into giving me their latest CD its great. If I were interested in vocal lessons I would definitely call her.
I was a bit nervous starting piano lessons in my 70s but Jonathan has given me such encouragement and praise that I am eager to take on increasingly challenging pieces. He is very attentive both to my strengths and to things I need to work on. Lessons are stimulating and very rewarding. I have seen him perform in groups and solo piano - he is superb!
My teenage son has been Andrew's guitar student for many years now. Andrew is an outstanding teacher, mentor, and professional musician. He is deeply knowlegable in all aspects of music and musical theory as well as skilled in playing several musical instruments. Andrew is a patient, caring, teacher who nurtures musical talent in a format that is very individualized for each student. He also encourages and facilitates parent involvement in the student's musical training if parents wish to be an active participant in the lessons. Andrew also has extensive experience teaching music to students with special needs. My son, who is autistic, blossomed musically under Andrew's mentorship. The musical training not only uncovered a particular gift for music and listening, but also opened up my son's social and intellectual world, and gave him a constructive focus in music. I give my highest recommendation for Andrew as a teacher. Thank you Andrew for all the skills, knowledge, and inspiration you have given my son.
As a assistant manager of O'Connor's public house, I have Tommy playing for entertainment often. He's a talented musician and songwriter writer. Which is why I will continue to hire him for gigs in the future.
George is an all-around great guy to work with -- he's enthusiastic and knowledgeable about his craft, and challenged me to grow as a guitarist. I hope to work with him again in the future.
Joe is professional, well prepared, and, most importantly, a rock solid drummer. He has a good rapport with kids and is a pleasure to work with . I would recommend him as an instructor or a musician for hire without hesitation.
Katie teaches out of her very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. Her studio location is convenient and easily reached off of I-95. After one meeting, I can say that Katie is an excellent musician and teacher, and, thankfully for me, is very patient. Her observations and suggestions seem to be spot on and helpful. I’m looking forward to studying with Katie for some time to come.
Everyone enjoys Dave Mack solo or with his band. Has a good play list and plays request too. He is consistent on keeping people entertained while having dinner and drinks or out with others having a few pops and a good time.
He provided private alto sax lessons to my daughter for 7 years. She is an exceptional musician, and he played a very significant role.
I hired musicians from EKM to sing at my wedding ceremony and was absolutely delighted that they were also able to bring a string quartet to my cocktail hour and play for my reception. It saved me the hassle of hiring three acts and they did all of it for a very fair price. They also kept in contact with me and invited me to meet their performers before the ceremony so I would be completely at ease. They were fun and personable and I would work with them again.
Jason Martin is a thoughtful dedicated musician who has a great teaching style. He is always prepared, professional and patient. His drive to better himself while pushing others is what is truly special about Mr.Martin. He has been playing for over 20 years and it shows. He is comfortable teaching Metallica as well as Scruggs. He has an amazing selection of instruments so you can try different tunings or stringed instruments. He has you work on pieces of your interest right away, which keeps you engaged. I do not think you could find a better teacher anywhere.
Both my daughters took guitar lessons with Wes. Hands down he is the one of best in the area. Wes has the ability to reach anyone at any level and brings out the absolute best in them. He listens to the individual student and understands their needs and desires to help bring out their personal best. Wes is versatile and talented and we were fortunate to know Wes and be taught by such a consummate professional. He relates well to any age level and doesn't push his music repertoire/agenda onto his students but gives them the opportunity to explore their style and genre of music freely. I highly recommend this fine and talented musician and teacher!!
I play songs you won't expect from solo acoustic. I can do background as well as dance music. Feel free to click the Facebook link - there are several samples recorded on an iphone - I have many more upon request -
ClaS!cK has been formed for about four years doing various musical events around Connecticut and is comprised of two young men who are interested in sharing their entertainment and musical talents.
Amanda is a conservatory trained musician who performs for wedding, corporate, and private events. Amanda not only provides excellent customer service but performs with the highest level of artistry. Amanda also teaches private lessons for guitar, classical guitar, and beginning piano.
We are classical and klezmer musicians who are superb in every way. We are made up of conservatory-trained symphony musicians, professors of colleges, and full-time folk artists, who specialize in performing music in the concert hall, and equally enjoyable at celebrations. We are strolling table to table or stationary. Small to large ensemble, our customers enjoy our interaction with guests, via dancing and (for kids) our games. We enjoy what we do. Yes, it's "work" to do it right, but we do love this work.
