- What types of customers have you worked with?
I am a counseling psychologist in the tradition of Dr. Alfred Adler. I developed a deep-psychology approach to help adults explore and revise childhood patterns that limit them as adults today. I have conducted the program ("LEAP") over 200 times with individuals, couples, classes and clergy-training. Today I conduct LEAP over the Internet using Skype Video. We meet for 10 to 12 one-hour weekly sessions, using some 200 pages of material I supply by email which the client prints at home. Adlerian psychology is positive, practical, and proven for more than 100 years throughout the psychological community.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
You must be an adult who speaks English and has a comsputer with Skype, a web-camera, and microphone. You must be willingl to use the material I supply as you make a detailed exploration of ten major topicsw: family, parents, sibilngs, childhood, attempts to belong, behavior patterns, core beliefs, "Private Logic," mental ideal images, life-management methods, and the entire course of your life. You must be willng to spend at least one hour before each session to prepare for our discussions, which are intense yet informal and friendly. You must realize that this approach is educational, that you will be required to prepare beforehand, and that it is based on reason.
