From attendance at major industry design conferences, to active continuing education on respected learning sites, to reading a plethora of important daily and weekly newsletters, I work very hard to stay abreast of current developments in my field. The field of web design is evolving by the minute. New technologies. New design trends. New code libraries. New performance techniques. Professional web designers are perpetual students.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Our industry is moving at the speed of light. As a result, we are all full time students. All designers and developers are doing their absolute best to sift through the noise of new trends; new technologies; new marketing strategies; new computer operating system bugs; new security concerns; new performance techniques; new design trends; new... We work extremely hard to design great products, and we work equally as hard to keep current. Because we are passionate about our constantly evolving industry, we take off our "web design professional" hats at the close of business, and replace them with our "web design student" beanies.
