- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Most Classes are about $80/Person, we offer a discount of $5/person when a client books a class through Thumbtack.com and offers to write a review of their class and our company after completion. The Class can have up to Nine(9) students, A second instructor must be added for a class size of 10 to 18 students. The AHA only allows 9 students per Instructor. We do also offer Specials & Group discounts.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I re-certify as an Instructor every two years. I continue to be member of my local volunteer fire department(Attending training drills, classes, etc). I also subscribe to a bunch of e-newsletters from professionals in my field (i.e. EMS Journals, Firehouse Magazine, American Heart Association Publications, etc)
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I started my trianing in EMS back in 1998 while in college. I took a Lifeguarding course, got certified, worked for a summer then thought "Whats the next step?" That lead me to the Volunteer Fire Department where I spent over ten years as a active member, which lead me to this!
