Samantha contacted me within minutes after I requested help with making a new resume. I didn't really know how to word things or what to add in order to land a new job. Samantha was very friendly and asked questions of me in order to be able to make me a resume catered to the position I have been hoping to receive. Only downside I would say ( which isn't really bad at all.) is that my resume ended up being multiple pages long. She did however send me the word document so I can edit it as I choose and continue to change it in the future if need be for new employment. Very detailed, great vocabulary used. And best of all it was done in just a matter of days. Would recommend her highly. Don't hesitate to contact her, she always listened to my requests.

    After a very difficult two years at my previous job, I was feeling unappreciated and overwhelmed. I knew that something had to change, but even the thought of hunting for a new job was more than I could handle. I was working full time and going to school at night. I had spent the last 10 years at the same job, and felt as if my experience as a professional in my field was going to to be overshadowed by recent graduates. With their knowledge of new practices, eager, energetic, and drive to succeed, I felt as if I was no match for these tech-savvy applicants that school districts want to hire at lower salaries. I knew that I needed to rediscover what I have and other candidates don’t. I had no idea where to look for this kind of coaching, but I knew that I needed to see myself through fresh eyes. I also needed someone to help update my resume, and my whole approach to presenting myself in a way that conveyed my strengths. Eva helped me with all of this, and more. What began as a request for organizational and technical help, became a journey of self-realization. As my confidence grew, I got my energy back. Eva was professional, punctual, and quick to respond to any and all of my requests, but more than that, her ability to facilitate the change - the exact change that I wanted and needed in my life - I think surprised us both! We started applying to jobs right away by uploading my resume online. Every job posted had questions for me to answer, and I needed a lot of hand holding by way of Google drive. Employers were also asking for a mission statement and I started to write one. Eva provided me with real-time feedback during the process, and I came to understand that she has excellent communication skills and a talent for taking my thoughts - garbled at times - and turning them into clear and concise statements with me. We researched the school districts and worked on interview outlines and potential questions and answers. Going into multiple interviews back-to-back feeling prepared and organized, really helped me stay focused and confident. That’s when I realized what a real job coach does, and I knew that whatever was about to happen was going to be awesome and life changing. Now I live on the West Coast, in a different state, and I work at a progressive private school, where my expertise in the area of Creative Arts in education is valued. This school shares my vision, and I once again feel like I work with people who honor the whole child. I am happier, healthier, and more effective at my job. I am doing what I love and living my dream. I am making a better salary, and I wake up every day with a beautiful ocean view and a redefined purpose. Needless to say, I highly recommend working with Eva. I know I couldn’t have done it without her.
