Sarah did an absolutely fabulous job for us as a "day of" coordinator for our daughter's wedding in Boston and Newton. I feel blessed that I found her a few weeks before the wedding, when I realized I could not do all the little things that would be needed that day. Our transportation to/from the wedding ceremony presented multiple challenges before and on the wedding day. Sarah handled it beautifully and everything was flawless. The better job she did, the less we'd realize how valuable she was because she prevented several potential problems by calling all the vendors in advance. She made some suggestions based on previous weddings and helped with the rehearsal party. She was the wedding partys right hand person during the morning and early afternoon, handled the complex transportation to/from the ceremony, directed people at the church, and was invaluable throughout the reception! Sarah is a delightful, organized, kind, experienced and proactive person. I would hire her again in a minute! She made a very positive impact on an extremely important day for our whole family. Jessica did a fantastic job in my husband's 50th birthday party. Before the party she was very responsive to my inquiries and promptly answered all my questions- inclusive preparing the shopping list and was very accurate on her quantities. She arrived on the scheduled time and did a fantastic job setting up the bar and getting herself organized before the guests arrival. She easily managed our 80 guests and she had no problem in staying longer than what was originally planned.
I hired Platter Matters Catering for my 40th Birthday Party. Ivett did a phenomenal job planning the entire event! She took care of all the rentals and flower arrangements, too. Bernadett helped me create a custom menu(many allergies in the family). The staff was very friendly and professional. All of my guests raved about their food and service. Victoria and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with! I consider myself to be a rather organized person, but planning a backyard wedding was a bit too much for me to handle on my own. Hiring Everlasting Affairs was the best decision we made! Victoria is incredibly detail-oriented, which was a relief to me. She also has experience coordinating backyard weddings, so she ensured we had all the proper signage and insurance necessary to keep our day running smoothly. We filled out one questionnaire and did a short venue walk-through and that is all she needed to coordinate our perfect wedding day. On the day of the wedding, the forecast was iffy, so she and her team made several decisions regarding ceremony setup to ensure our vision was prioritized, while also keeping guest comfort in mind. She and her team took charge of ceremony and reception setup, greeted all the vendors, handed out our tips for us, and made sure guests were comfortable. Throughout the day she was attentive to me and my wedding party’s needs and made sure I always had a drink in my hand! I didn’t have to lift a finger, which is exactly what I wanted. Needless to say, I’d recommend Victoria without hesitation!
I am so glad I found Vickie through Thumbtack. We hired her for our anniversary party for about 140 people and Vickie and her team were just wonderful. Vickie did our table/chair decorations including a beautiful centerpiece, doorway draping, tableware, fruit and cheese trays and was present throughout the party to make sure ours needs were met. Our venue only allowed an hour and half for decorations and Vickie managed to get a few extra people to help her out with. She even helped me find an affordable bakery for ordering cakes and made me really comfortable through the entire planning process. Throughout the party, she was constantly making sure that the hosts and guests had everything they need. My party would not have been the same without her. Highly recommend her to everyone. She is going to my to go person for future parties.
Terry-Ann of Beauty Rembered was my florist for my wedding on November 20, 2016. She provided me will all the bouquets for the bridal party and the boutonnières for the men. She also did all of my centerpieces. Everything was absolutely beautiful! My day would not have been the same without her. I could not have asked for anything more! Through the entire process Terry-Ann was so nice and so helpful! She was quick to respond to any questions I had. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for beautiful floral arrangements at a wonderful price!!
I hired Adrienne to assist in coordinating a baby shower/cocktail party. She was an excellent listener and came up with several great suggestions to enhance the party. The room layout, centerpieces, and "special baby book" that she designed were just some of her contributions. Adrienne also reduced my stress related to the party by being dependable, punctual and doing it all within budget. She was a pleasure to work with and I would not hesitate to call on her again. I chose the Magic Spoon to cater my sons graduation party. Claudine got back to me the same day to plan my party and was very personable. She helped me pick my menu and made great suggestions. The menu was creative & unique yet as simple as you needed it. The cost range I felt was reasonable for the value and quality of the food & service I received. Claudine and her staff were very professional and it was a pleasure doing business with them. I would recommend The Magic Spoon for your next event big or small.

We recently celebrated our 50 th anniversary. Ciesco was an intrical part of the planning and the realization of our party. No detail was either too small or too large for them to handle. They designed the invitation, planned the menu and the food was fantastic! They helped make our day special and it all went off without a hitch. It was like make a party with your best friend . Karla took care of us in planning our menu within our budget for a large birthday party that we were planning. Both Jamie and Karla were present the day of and prepared some of the most delicious food I think I've ever had in my life. Jamie is also wildly knowledgable and willing to share a wealth of culinary information with you if you just ask. Had a great time and can't wait to hire them back again.
Charlene did a Great job for our babies 1st birthday. He loves Barney and unfortunately Barney is a little outdated and there's not much out there to buy as far as decorations go. Charlene actually found a big Barney Balloon, along with other things which, when the baby walked in, he went straight to it and wouldn't stop "talking" to it. :) He was a happy birthday boy!!! Charlene was there before me and had everything set up for us. We were in from out of town so that we could celebrate with family so it was a huge help to have her do this for us since we were pressed for time. She even left me things to use such as speakers for music and utensils for the food. She was a huge help and everything I needed she had! I would highly recommend Charlene. She was reliable, available and was prompt getting back to me via email and texts as questions I had would come up. She also returned towards the end of the party to help me clean up. I asked Cristal to throw a Quince for my cousin. She's a big Havanna Nights fan but also a glam queen so I need it to be like Cuban Hollywood. And that's what it was! Even with a run in with decor, I thought she wasn't going to be to pull it off but Cristal knows how to make magic happen. She ended up meshing the venues props from two other themed parties and spending minimal on miscellaneous things to pull it all together. From dresses, tux, choreography & menu items she pulled it off! With communication and always consulting with me before any major decisions- the party was a hit and my cousin [came in on a floral swing!!] with the biggest smile on her face. Couldn't have been happier with the job Cristal did.
