Through Thumbtack I was hired to help repair someone's heating system by identifying some electrical issues. Apparently I was the only contractor willing to come out at a moments notice. I try and prioritize heating and life safety issues, especially when our current highs are 20F and lows -10F.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask for a Certificate of Insurance at the time of signing any contract or doing any service and repair work.
