FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always like to be able to have a conversation over the phone to get a good idea of the project. i welcome pictures and ideas of what you're looking for. Also if possible i like to meet in person where the piece/project will live so we can further discuss size, materials, budget. From there I typically render a design with Google Sketchup and send to you for approval. From there a deposit is required and I get started building!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
15 years building houses, interior finish woodwork, exterior finish woodwork and a few years at a custom cabinetry shop and fine furniture. Ive been trained at Connecticut Valley School of Woodworking.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I first started in my fathers business building high end homes in Fairfield county Connecticut which entailed everything from the framing of the house all the way to the interior finish process and installing kitchens. The interior finish work and kitchen installation ultimately lead me to how much i loved the finer details in woodworking and thus field my passion for furniture.
