Contractor came out gave me an estimate said he would be out the following Wed. to do the work. He called and said he had a schedule conflict would it be Ok if he came Fri. Fri. morning he called said he had been in an accident would it be OK if he came Mon. Mon. he came worked about 10 min. said he needed a tool he didn't bring with him. He left said he would be right back an hour later he showed up worked for about 45 min and said his saw had quit working he was going to buy a new one that he would be back later that afternoon to complete the work. This was 2 weeks ago. I called with no answer, left vm's also sent emails with no reply. Got my fiancé to call using his phone and someone answered and said they were with a client and would call back. The person that called him back said the contractor had had a heart attack and he (the employee) would be in contact with me. That is the last I have heard from anyone and the work is still incomplete.

Demanded 100% of money upfront to hire his contractors before he would start. He was a one man show that did not have any contractors working for him, never kept his appointment times, never stayed on site to complete anything just came in and out and drug the project on for weeks. Always an excuse on why he couldn't show up or stay to complete a task. Always left a mess behind that I had to clean up each day he showed up. Work was unprofessional and had to be completed by someone else as he left the job incomplete and messed up the drawers and countertops. Never finished the job and took the money without refunding the work he did not do. Use him for a one day project, but not an installation or design project.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will send a quote and after it is approved..I send a picture of my self for the customer to identify me with... we keep a clean work area and when meed be I will make all cuts outdoors..
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 20 years of related training and 10 years of cabinet installation.
