I took piano lessons from Gary for years and his program is fantastic. I learned to play the piano through songs that I loved, which made me want to continue with lessons as a kid. I am in college now and I still play the piano. Also, his rockonamerica program was a wonderful experience. I got to play rock music in a band with other kids my age. It was way cooler than any piano recital. I would definitely recommend taking music lessons with Gary; his lessons were a lot of fun and years later I still retain what I learned.
Barb's Continuo Home Music Lessons provided home lessons to my son. Not only was the instructor very talented, but they knew exactly how to interact with a young person to keep his interest throughout the lesson and encouraged practicing beyond the lesson. Barb is always prompt and goes out of her way to accomodate scheduling issues.
They have a lot of experience teaching guitar lessons to people with all levels of musical ability. I really enjoyed working with them.
Joe provided a group drum lesson of which I was a part. He was friendly, clear in his instruction, and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for drum lessons.
I have been learning the drums-and not just the drums, but overall music concepts, and styles with Ken for over a year. He prepares every lesson, and works very specifically with my needs and goals. His knowledge and experience is vast and deep. He is skilled, intelligent, and has a great sense of humor. I highly recommend working with him.
Chris can teach both drums (drum kit) and various percussion instruments (tympani, tuned percussion, etc.). I am taking lessons from Chris mainly to learn basic rock drumming on a standard drum kit. He is a wonderful teacher. He'll give you valuable lessons not only on playing the drum kit, but also on good drumming fundamentals, such as proper stick grip, how to position your hands on the stick, and stick control, speed and independence. He will also instruct you in good habits and tips for practicing the drums between lessons. I very highly recommend Chris as a drum and percussion teacher.
Gerald is extremely knowledgeable, talented and professional. My son started taking drum lessons from him when he was 5, and Gerald has motivated and inspired him even when the lessons became challenging. Gerald has an incredible work ethic and an infinite amount of patience!
Had my first ever drum lesson with Ryan. I was impressed by his mastery of the craft, and the ease with which he communicates the most rudimentary drumming techniques. It is a wonderful balance and made me want to become a better drummer and better person in general!
My girl friend got me drum lessons for Xmas. She went on line and decided to go with Nick. I'm glad she did..I've only had 2 lessons so far and have enjoyed going to them..Nick has a lot of patience which is good for teaching .He also doesn't push you and let's you go at your speed which is nice... I'm 56 and I always wanted to learn how to play the drums.. I've play a lot of sports and like being challenged. This is a new challenge for me and I'm enjoying Nick, teaching me and looking forward to more lesson.., I would highly recommend Nick, for lessons..

Trevor is the best teacher my teenage son EVER had! I credit Trevor for turning his whole LIFE around - with Trevor's patience and kindness- he is an excellent ROLE MODEL as well as extremely knowledgable player and teacher
I love working with Rowen....so much that I came back. I took lessons with her for about 6 years and than took a 3 1/2 year break & came back. I couldn't be happier...I learn so much from her!! She has wonderful advice about life in general, very talented, and so kind. She is one of the sweetest & most patient women you will ever meet. She takes her time in the lesson, and devotes the time to her student. She is willing to go over a piece that you are working on as many times as you need to. She has patience. She has a beautiful voice. She is very helpful and makes reading music seem easy! She is very organized with her teaching, it may seem like baby steps but it is all worth it. You have to start with the basics no matter what instrument you play! Rowen is great, I use to play in her recitals she held once every year. Those were wonderful, she really knows how to make her students feel like a star. Worth every penny!!!!
His is an outstanding drummer and he taught me so much I am so glad to be able to get in touch with him.
Vladimir is a great, relatable teacher. I was so incredibly lucky to find him - he makes each lesson fun and accessible. I would recommend him to a student of any level.
The Al Miller Drum School has been in existence for over 5 decades. It is an easy program to follow and has provided it's students with the tools needed to understand rhythm and technique. The system is based on Al's proven instructional method begun in 1951. Many of today's most well-known drummers have studied the Miller drum system, including Billy Cobham, Greg Bissenette and Rod Morgenstein, to name just a few. Even the great Buddy Rich recognized the value of his system and asked my father to teach him to read music. Since my father's passing in 2000, I've been expanding his method and personalizing it for the modern drummer.
I teach music to potential and current drum students and perform live jazz, jazz fusion, and other genres.

We are an Irish Pipe Band, and have marched in over 20 parades a year and have the honor of leading the New York State Board of the AOH up 5th Avenue every St Patrick's Day. We supply uniforms. Ages 9 to 90 are welcome, and you don't have to be an Irish.
I am a young professional drummer, specializing in teaching rock, jazz, drum set, snare, stick technique, and NYSSMA preparation.
I provide beginner and intermediate drum lessons in all genres and styles. I focus on groove and technique rather than reading or charts.
As a Berklee College of Music alum, I'm a true advocate for both the technical and the emotional aspects of drumming. I strive to instill the same ideals in the minds of my students. I'm well versed in many genres, but I am most comfortable in the styles of rock, heavy metal, and jazz.
