Introduction: I use observation of life and paint and draw with intuitive, emotive, and a limited palette of thoughtful color. I am a painter, draftsman, and highly skilled in mural and fine decorative art and finishes. I also teach art to share my joy with others. My murals are closer to life scale that are composed of architectural frameworks to invite the viewer into the painters mind. I work on large and smaller canvas, linen is my favorite, and a variety of papers. My paintings depict landscapes, figures and abstractions from nature.I returned to portraiture and love it!! I accept commissions for portraits, landscapes, interior and exterior, and public projects. I hold an MFA and teach to all ages.

Peri did a house sign for me. She knew exactly what I wanted it to look like and the execution of the sign on both sides, the lettering, the colors and the leaf decoration around the name are perfect in every way. I get a lot of compliments because it is so different and pretty and gives my home a very personal touch.
