I needed some help with algebra in 8th grade. My parents had heard of Jeremy from a friend, so we got in touch and he started tutoring me. Jeremy is an excellent tutor. He helped me with my Algebra and all of my other subjects. He has a vast array of knowledge in all subjects ranging from Algebra to History. On top of that, Jeremy taught me what was important to focus on. He helped me prepare for the SAT and showed me how important it was. I went on to do excellent on it. This is what separates him from other tutors. He informs you of things that will be important in the future even when it has nothing to do with what you are learning in class. All the while, Jeremy is friendly and down to earth. It felt like a friend or family member was tutoring me. I truly couldn't give him high enough praise.

After a disappointing SAT test, my son did an intense 8-session course with Jeremy over about 5 weeks, focusing mainly on writing and reading. Jeremy was always pleasant and encouraging, explaining things carefully while also working my son hard. The result was that my son raised his combined writing and reading score by 170 points (his total score is now 2070). My son was thrilled with the improvement.

I really appreciated the time and effort that she put towards me. It was a tremendous help and I felt extremely prepared for the SAT. Mrs. Kaplan would always try to arrive on time for our appointments and would even spend extra time with me if needed. If anyone is serious about doing well on the English section of the SAT, I highly recommend Mrs. Kaplan.

We met in a small group once a week for SAT prep. It was a relaxed setting and we got a lot of work done. We started off with a practice test of both the act and the sat which was very helpful. I found the one on one session to be especially helpful, and there was never a question that went unanswered. I really enjoyed the class and got a lot out of it.

About

I help students with the writing and reading sections of the SAT and ACT exams. Students' scores improve by a minimum of 200 points. I also help prepare students to sit the ELA exams, grades 6-12.

About

I teach math at all levels and standardized tests, including SAT, PSAT, ACT both Math and Verbal. What customers love about my work is that I get results. I am a good teacher. I am able to draw out my students to see how they reason on problems, and then guide them to improve their reasoning, as necessary. I don't just tell them how to do a problem; I teach them the reasoning that allows them to solve it on their own.

About

I have been tutoring math (pre-algebra to geometry), the English language (reading, writing, and ESL), and test preparation (Hunter, SHSAT, and SAT) for five years both independently and through agencies. I create a curriculum based on an initial evaluation and then work with students for a short period in order to prepare them to meet specific goals.

About

I give the student a personalized approach that stands out from the pack. Having one-on-one instruction when tutoring is essential to diagnose weaknesses and improve on strengths. I am able to coach students to improve on weaknesses with encouragement, positive feedback. We work together to improve your score or essay.

About

I provide tutoring services. I will come to you and teach all levels of math. I also do test prep. I have over 25 years of experience. I also have references.

About

I provide high-quality, personalized SAT tutoring for anyone having trouble with the Verbal section (reading and writing). I'm a certified state educator with 7 years of SAT-tutoring experience. I've developed an efficient, effective method that focuses on concrete strategies and techniques for each question type. I focus on one thing: getting test scores up. As a result, every single one of my students over the past 7 years has shown marked improvement. I personalize every course for the individual student. I utilize Socratic-style methods to ensure that the student is working for every minute of the class - thinking, debating, and processing - and not just listening to me talk. I also bring a high-energy, fun attitude to my lessons; one that acknowledges that the SAT is no fun for anyone, but is beatable by everyone. If your student needs help on the verbal portion of the SAT, I'm your man, even if you've tried classes or programs before.
