To say Lee-Ann is good at her job would be a massive understatement. We have a tangle of finances -- 3 different entity types (501c3, 501c4, and LLC) and 10 accounts -- with complex money movements between all of them, ever-changing goal-posts, and fire-drills almost daily but Lee-Ann didn't hesitate to jump in and start owning processes. She helped us hire 2 people in different states (requiring us to set up withholding accounts in both of those states, which Lee-Ann owned like a boss) and set up various processes for us (expense tracking, reimbursements, invoicing). She also set up Stripe, Plaid, and PayPal accounts. Lee-Ann jumped right into our entire G-Suite organization so we could more effectively collaborate using Google Sheets, Docs, Meet, and Chat. She is also incredibly responsive and uses Calendly which made scheduling with her easy. If it's not already clear by now, Lee-Ann is a massively important and value-creating part of our team, and we're so thankful we found her.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?After I get a good feel for the project and the scope of work, I will determine any up front payment amount and the monthly charge that has to paid before work can begin. Budgeting is made easy for clients since they know how much they will be spending every month. To make payments even easier, automatic recurring payments can be set up on the account.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to have an initial phone call with a prospective client just to get a very broad view of their needs and to talk with them one-on-one to see how I can help them. Then they will need to provide me with more information about their current business, pain points and challenges, and where they would like to see their business in the future, including short-term and long-term goals. They will have to provide some documentation so that I can assess their company, things like bank statements and tax returns, plus access to their current accounting system. We then have a complementary discovery call to dig deeper into their needs and their business so that we both get a good sense of what the work will entail and to see if we are a good fit for each other. Work doesn’t start until a client completes an agreed upon proposal and contract, and submits the first payment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Bachelor if Science degree in Accounting and I am a QuickBooks Online Pro Advisor.
