So far we’ve had a handful of singing lessons and my daughter loves the teacher.
Communication with Maggie was excellent. She responded me with answers I needed. My son took lesson. She welcomed him and rest of family to her place. My son showed improvement right away with her coaching and he couldn't wait to go back for another class. (Of course we booked for another lesson) Her positive leading lesson gave him confidence and skills he needed. Thank you so much!!!
My daughter has been studying with Ms. Phillips for several months now and I continue to be extremely impressed with the progress she has made. Ms. Phillips has made voice lessons a very positive, fun and inspiring experience in addition to instilling exceptional technique. We look forward to many more years of voice lessons with her!
My child has just started taking singing lessons. Due to Barbara understanding and knowledge she's making it a very good experience.
Excellent instruction. Plus you get great feedback. I love hearing the recorded lessons and seeing my child's improvement.
Before my lessons with Katryna, the only singing I've allowed myself was in my shower! She is an amazing teacher, who told me how to find and control my voice. Now I am planning to record a song as an anniversary present for my husband :) So whether you have high or low skills level I'd recommend Katryna for you 100%. Not only an experience teacher, but also a great person!
I started lessons at Total Theatre Lab with Caroline Thomas a bout a year ago. I knew absolutely nothing about acting aside from taking a class at my local college. This was nothing like it. I first met Caroline for tea so we could discuss my goals and what kind of acting I would like to pursue and a little bit of my background. I was a musician for 16 years and lost most of my hearing playing loud concerts and festival shows before working in loud dog kennels. I wanted to do something different in the performance field and I was very into television drama and dramedy. Within the next few weeks she had picked out the perfect monologue for me to get started on. In time I joined the group class where I learned more about improv, sense memory, movement, scene work, and was able to use a lot of my production skills from both music and working on tv and movie sets to help make our finalized videos look top notch! I'd recommend studying with Caroline to anyone who wants to learn how to act the right way. Her past successes are only a part of the great work she does. She is putting out highly trained professional actors ready for the big screen and theatres!
David was able to give me new insights to songs I have sung since my 20's and how to think about them many years later and make them my own! He also has such an excitement and passion about music and singing that it is catching and, indeed, reminds one of what it is all about!
My Child Desperately needed acting lessons for her audition and Natalia at Be Your Craft- saved the day :-) !!!
I went to Josh to prepare for an audition which required two contrasting monologues. Josh was helpful to adapt the text so I could focus on the key aspects of each script. Josh provided genuine feedback and I enjoyed his bluntness. He is very easy to work with and I highly recommend him.
I've been taking acting classes for the last 20 years, everywhere from community centers to semi-fancy schools. George is, without a doubt, one of the best teachers I've ever worked with. His dedication and passion to this craft is what drives him, and it's what provides you with the foundation to reach new levels you never thought were possible. I know for me, I discovered new layers and possibilities for acting that I didn't know were within me. If you want to become more connected and put in the work, George will be there for you.
If you in need of an acting teacher or a mentor, Susan is the one ! Professional and experienced. Thank you Susan, Zdeni V.
I have great pleasure performing theatrically and musically with Bree Klauser, and have known her for four years. She is intelligent, personable, very professional, and funny. Bree has a tremendous talent for understanding her students and artistic partners on all levels; she will train you and encourage you based on YOUR personality and YOUR style...even if you don't know what it is yet. She is a master of pitch and tone and health maintenance of the voice, both as a singer and actor. When you are learning from Bree, she will make sure you are engaged and excited to practice your craft. Also, she will give it to you straight, so don't think you can hide behind any "walls" with this woman. I promise you will have a lovely experience with Bree Klauser as your instructor, you will become a more confident and skilled artist, you will begin to apply your skills to all parts of your life, and you will definitely laugh more than once.
I am an actor, a musician, and singer who can give very helpful acting, singing, guitar, and piano lessons for beginner-intermediate level students. I have a lot of experience in these fields, and I will take any age. I can also help with math or reading/writing tutoring sessions! I don't have a lot of tutoring experience, but I am more than proficient in these fields.
I'm a New York based performer who has been in the business for over 10 years. I love music and acting because it lets you express yourself in ways that other art forms can't. I use my passion to help people get out of their comfort zone and do something different. In my studio, there is a way.

I am a professional operatic baritone (born and trained in Italy). I have worked with many opera companies in the U.S. and around the world, including the Metropolitan Opera, New York City Opera, Opera di Roma, Teatro Regio Torino, Sarasota Opera and many more. I teach Italian operatic vocal technique, interpretation, repertoire, and acting for the opera stage.
I have taught group lessons and coached acting. The method I use as an actor is primarily based on Terry Schreiber's technique. He works with a combination of Meisner and Method acting. I have worked in the profession for over 20 years in all mediums. I love helping younger actors refine their technique in a manner unique to them.
