awesome experience with Andrew.Aug 29, 2018Verified
What a great vocal teacher! I learned so much from just one lesson!!!Mar 23, 2018VerifiedAndrew Scott Lane's reply
Thanks so much Tom!
First time ever with a vocal instructor one on one, and it was the best choice I could've ever made, especially with Mr. Andrew. He was quick to find exactly what I needed to improve and taught in 1 hour something I have been struggling with for more then 15 years! Very humble, very professional and most important patient. Even though the one hour was up, he didn't mind conversating after class about other techniques and other vocal related stuff.Sep 19, 2017Verified
I had a great lesson w Andrew. Very patient and knowledgeable with a student who has never sang in his life. Looking forward to future lessons!Jul 27, 2015Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I always offer either a free 20 minute lesson/voice assessment or a discounted Full Hour for the first visit ($40). My usual rate is $65/hr but I can work with people's budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I do a quick voice assessment and give immediate feedback as far as what is going on with the breathing, cord (vocal fold) control, and resonators ( throat, mouth). I find that most students experience a significant positive shift in singing in the first hour lesson. This is due to the scientific approach and the system that I teach. I work out of my wife and I's Yoga, Dance and Performing Arts studio in Norwalk - Soma Samadhi Yoga & Dance at 112 Main St.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I worked with John Henny from Los Angeles (John Henny Music Academy). John is teacher to the stars and for many years worked for Seth Riggs who taught Michael Jackson and other celebrities. John took his method to the next level which is the basis of what I teach. I also have a Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy from Boston Conservatory in Massachusetts.
