We started out with a small self propelled grinder towing it with a Jeep to now running two large hook-lift work trucks that enable us to be the most efficient in what we do. Since the beginning we expanded to do excavation work, site work and other specialty work suck as pool removal and concrete demolition. In all we do we strive everyday to make tools and or invest in tools that help us to get your job done efficiently so that we can provide the best service at the best price.

Don and his crew were fantastic — friendly, great value and top-notch work. We had three stumps to remove. Two were troublesome as the trees had grown right around a chain-link fence. They finished the job in two hours — and even worked on our tight timeline as we had materials coming for a new fence. Other estimates were in the $1,200K-plus range, while Stump Choppers were as much as $500 less. The price didn’t reflect the work. The finished product was perfect and we are thrilled. Strongly recommend.

We just had Stump Chompers remove our large in ground pool and could not be more thrilled with the level of service provided. Don was extremely professional through out the entire consultation, execution and final billing process. He makes everything super easy with online invoices, and was very responsive to text messages. The work was done SO quickly, we couldn’t believe it!! We will most certainly be using Stump Chompers for all of our upcoming projects!

Don & his dad were both phenomenal. Very pleased with the job they did. They were both very professional, did a great job and were very fair priced. This is how you earn repeat business and I will use Don again. Great Job, thankyou.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Upon introduction we always like to meet with you the customer on site to go over the details of the project. This way all the details and expectations are set so the job can be completed to your satisfaction without any assumptions. After we meet and go over the project I will send a a detailed proposal digitally for your review with options discussed etc. Upon acceptance of the proposal will add you to our job list and provide you with an estimated time we will start the project. We will then as it gets closer notify you again that we are coming on a certain day and time.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure that expectations of the job being done are set prior to the job. For example, If you are looking to plant a tree where a stump is being removed, the company will need to go deeper than if you are just looking to plant grass. Also, find out what type of machine they are using as different versions of stump grinders are more suitable for removing stumps that are in hard to get to places. If the company has a tow behind version, they may not be the best company to remove your stump as they will have to drive a truck over your yard (possibly septic or well).

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The biggest question in my opinion is what the final result of the project should look like. Sometimes projects need to be done in phases and that is ok. Many times we provide different options so you know the cost to do each phase of the project. This helps you for budgeting and sometimes makes you realize to get the whole project done may be more cost effective than to break it up.
