Introduction: I provide a customized massage based on my clients areas of need and the overall wellness plan that we will discuss together. I may incorporate many massage modalities into the sessions to help achieve these goals. I am flexible and can adjust the sessions to how the client is feeling or their needs for that session. I do not try to force my own agenda on my clients, I may suggest certain things I think may help, but it's your session and clients do much better if they feel they have some control in the healing process. I enjoy seeing clients walk out of their sessions feeling better and having less pain and freedom of movement. The work is it's own reward.

Simply stated, Colleen is the best! I have been dealing with lower back issues for about six years now and have never felt comfortable with anybody working on my back (extensively trained physical therapists included). But after seeing Colleen, all I have to say is wow. She is very tuned into her clients, their specific needs and comfort levels. She is also very well informed about different physical conditions that people may have. So whether you're looking for a relaxing massage or for someone to help ease your chronic pain, Colleen is definitely your chick!

Colleen is amazing! I have severe back pain and colleen is very helpful. Not only are her massages wonderful and relaxing but she also gives me tips on how to stretch and feel good everyday. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Not too complicated and all on my website. I also offer new client and referral discounts.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do! I love to learn more and keep updated on the latest research in the field. So far I have taken comprehensive courses on assessing and treating the lumbar spine and low pain, assessing and treating the cervical spine and head/neck pain, Swe-Thai, and positional release techniques.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Like I mentioned before I've always had a desire to help heal others and I kept gravitating to massage therapy over and over until after being laid off from my management job of 12 years, I decided it was time to embark on that journey.
