About this pro
I have been doing this most of my life. Just because you own the tools does not make you a craftsman. Constantly honing your craft and looking for new ways to improve quality and taking pride in your work makes you a craftsman. I guarantee most of what I do for life. That means it must be done and done right the first time. I take great pride in seeing my customers looks when the job has been completed. Do things that other people in my trade say cannot be done. I also enjoy the challenge of making someone's home or business better than before I started.
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? It's very difficult because I am custom craftsman, and often the jobs will have several changes during the course of the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Graduated with high honors from Rochester Institute of Technology. Worked for S.J. Pappas for a couple of years and then went out on my own and have been for 20 plus years.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I started in 8th grade and never looked back. I did not choose this, it chose me.
