I've had some nagging injuries that prevented me from playing the sports I love as well as get back ink shape. Not only has my golf game gotten tremendously better, but I'm back to the weight I was at in college. Jaisen is highly professional and has this ability to motivate and inspire. Best decision I made in 2015. I can't wait to achieve the new fitness goals we've set together going forward. Skip the meat head workouts with other personal trainers. Jaisen is a home run!!
One word: Transformative. If I were asked to name one person who "brought the groove back" to training, it would be Kadian (a.k.a. Niko) 1. Professional 2. Knows what he's doing and talking about. He is a science guy buy doesn't make you listen to a whole science lecture while you're trying to get the position right and count your reps (unlike some trainers.) 3. Listens to your individual needs, and will adjust accordingly 4. Approachable, motivational, and most importantly, makes you look forward to your next session! I've always dreaded working with trainers, but love going to the gym generally (machines used to be heaven!). But I needed to stir things up and my routine was getting too boring, and thankfully, I was sent this angel to guide me. Location is great for me and I look forward to our next session.
Greg is the ultimate professional honestly the most professional trainer I've ever met and I've met many "trainers". Greg made me feel very comfortable starting with our first email. He pushes me through my workout in such a positive way that I'm surprised at what I am capable of doing. Extremely happy. We will be working together for a long time.

As someone that is coming from an 80lb transformation, Maik has really helped me understand what it means to lead a healthy life with good nutrition and fitness. His methodology with regards to food is pragmatic and spot on. He will help you set up a meal plan for life. With regards to exercise - he is one of the few honorable trainers and fitness professionals out there that refuses to be a cop out. This guy knows his stuff, and results are imminent. I’ve been training with Serge for almost 3 months now, and believe he is one of the most experienced & committed trainers around. I started training once a week and I really enjoy the variety & challenge he puts into the sessions. I must be a glutton for punishment. Serge is focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every session challenging and fun. My fitness level has increased noticeably and I’ve seen improvements in my strength, coordination and he generally pushes me harder throughout each session. I really look forward to my workouts.
My name is Nancy & I hired Kathy as my trainer, she is absolutely the best & most knowledgeable trainer in the business, she is very patient & she is very attentive to everything you do to see if you are doing the exercise correctly. She gives a real sweaty & great workout, I workout in her home gym in Hauppauge which is very well equipped. I could go on & on about Kathy but I would run out of space but if you are considering working out with a personal trainer do not hesitate to call her she knows her stuff!!
Carlos is one of the best trainers out there. He honestly does a fantastic job of designing workouts specifically for me that will work out my whole body and help target problem area. He follows up about my nutrition by sending me plenty of information and guiding me through the process of both eating right and exercising.

Exceptional in every single way! When I contacted the burning zone, the response was prompt. Based on my goals I was match with Ulysse, he offered the first training for free. I had worked with personal trainers before, I could tell right away he was knowledgeable. He heard me out on my goals (strength building and body balance, not weight loss) and at the end of the session he came up with a plan on how we should work out. Ulysse's positivity and attitude towards health and fitness carries over to all aspects of your life when you work out with him. He is a strong nutritionist, adjust the workouts to your body and your needs and constantly switching things up. He watches you closely and ensures you get the most out of every exercise, he knows how to push you hard but not over the edge. Ulysse has a motivating effect which is exactly what you want in a trainer. On days you don't meet, a text message reminder to make healthy choices and will encourage you to stay on track. Ulysse is truly invested in your personal success, this isn't just some one-size-fits all program. I also love that he does not believe in or push products/supplements and other garbage onto you, his method: healthy eating exercise, rest and hard work. Ulysse is energetic, motivating, an awesome person and trainer. I enthusiastically recommend him to anybody reading this who needs a fantastic personal trainer.
I am a fitness colleague of Lisa Green Derosa and hold her expertise in the highest regard. Over the past five years of working along side her, i have watched her expertly transform the body comps and attitudes of her clients from deconditioned to fit and fabulous! She is one of the few trainers who I have witnessed make real and profound difference in peoples lives all around. I cannot tell you how many trainees of other, less qualified trainers i have warched over time get absolutely no visible results whatsoever. Of course this can be extremely frustrating for the client. NOT with Lisa, tho! Lisa is an expert on lifestyle and nutrition and can bring the gym right into your home without you having to go to there if you prefer not to! Signing up with NBI Fitness is probably one of the best things I could've ever done for myself. Trinnie and Gilbert are great and are currently helping me reach my dream health/body goals. The trainers truly care about their clients and are always pushing me to make sure I am doing all that is necessary to lose weight, tone up and build a healthy life style for myself. They also tell you what you should and should not be eating according to your fitness goal. Most importantly, I work and go to school full time therefore, it is difficult to work out with such a hectic schedule, BUT they literally make sure to work with whatever times works best for me even if its going out of their way. The cost, overall results and amazing customer service is really worth it and would recommend NBI Fitness to anyone who wants to tone up, lose weight, and get on track with their fitness goals.
i have been training with Brenda for 9 months now and she is great! Before Brenda, I did have a very good trainer in another city but then I moved to NYC, so I knew what the standard was for someone who would push you but also understand your personal needs and tailor the workout to make sure you are satisfied. I used Thumbtack to find a trainer and read positive reviews about Brenda and decided to give it a try--she has lived up to all expectations. Her schedule is flexible so she can meet you when and where is best for you (some trainers' schedules are too packed and if you're 5 minutes late, they take 5 min off the end of your session, or do not let you reschedule a session without giving you a hard time). She tailors the workouts so if you want to do something on a particular day or are feeling a bit sore in one area, she will work around that but still make sure you are getting an intense workout. Brenda is friendly and personable to talk to and will advise you on anything from nutrition to specific workout regimens to improve a muscle group. It's important to find a trainer who you really get along with and feel comfortable around, and I have found it very easy to work with Brenda. I'm 100% satisfied--highly recommended!
Ratul is the best trainer I've ever had an the best bang for the buck! Unlike the other trainers that I've encountered, Ratul makes sure that I get the best workout in and is not a clock watcher. He is constantly checking in with me by texts and in his food tracking app to make sure I'm staying on plan. I wholeheartedly recommend him!
I would highly recommend Chris as a trainer. Around a year ago I decided to get a trainer to work on strength and improve my workouts. I've been training with him since then. He keeps the workouts interesting and challenging, pushing me to get outside of my comfort zone, within reason. Chris gives me feedback on form and technique, and does it in a constructive way. Great to have him as my trainer!
I am new to Stamford and wanted to find a personal trainer and decided to hire Portia after looking at her website and seeing her credentials. Hiring Portia was such a great decision. I have some limitations with my exercising so I was nervous that I was going to hire a trainer that didn't really recognize that and wouldn't prevent me from getting injured. I didn't have to worry about that at all with Portia. From the first day, she performs an assessment of your abilities so she understands where your strengths and weaknesses are and then helps you build upon that. She is incredibly professional, but fun at the same time. I always feel that she's completely engaged in our sessions and is always paying attention to make sure I am using proper form and staying safe. Her workouts are also fun and challenging and she works out with you so you don't have to do it alone. After 12 sessions, I already started noticing a difference in the way I feel. I have purchased an additional 50 session package with her because I feel so confident that I want to work with Portia as long as possible and continue to see all the wonderful results she can help me achieve.
I was looking for a trainer that would help me to achieve my fitness goals, which were to lose weight (especially my belly fat) and tone my lower body. Alex helped me to exceed these goals. I've lost 40 pounds, lost 5 inches from my waist and gained great muscle tone. I am extremely motivated and more energetic as a result. With his workout plans, I never got bored, and I was always challenged to push myself. I'm amazed at what I was able to accomplish.
