For several years now, Greg has stayed in our home and taken care of our dog when we were away. He's dependable, clean, unobtrusive and very reliable. Most important to us is that he treats our home and dog with respect - we know she will be comfortable in her own surroundings and she loves Greg. We never worry when he's there.Jun 7, 2017
Greg has been an amazing dog sitter. He has worked for us for many years caring for our two golden retrievers as they aged. He was terrific at managing their medications as needed and giving them the attention and care they needed while we traveled. Greg was extremely responsive, punctual and flexible in the scheduling we needed. The dogs LOVE him! And he provides the added value of communicating with us regularly while we are away to let us know how everything at home is going. You and your pets would be lucky to have such a great pet/home sitter.Jun 5, 2017
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?House sitting it $75 a night. Dog walking depends on the number of walks the dog needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When a new customer contacts me, we arrange a time and place to meet. They show me around their house or apartment and explain what they need while they are out of town. I take copious notes from a format note taking sheet that contains all the necessary information that is important to the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?As a dog owner myself, I have first-hand experience working with dogs. This business has exposed me to working with other breeds of dogs, both large and small. Some dogs have very specific needs, mostly medical. I have to ensure that I am giving them the proper medication and if there are any issues, to take them to the vet and inform their owners. Some of my most frequent customers have called me several times a year to ask for my house sitting services.
