Two challenging furniture jobs, that I am very happy with, excellent communication keeping me involved at different stages. The first a 115 inch long metal frame table that had to go up to a second floor apartment, Jeff came up with a solution and executes a perfect job to provide a way to detach and re-assemble the two parts. The second was to encase large slabs of rock into a bed footboard, Jeff again had a good grasp of the aesthetics, the piece weighed about 400 LBs and once again a perfect job of detaching metal rods and re-building the piece in way that no one would ever know it was damaged.

In the fall of 2014 we purchased a house that was built in the mid 50's. There had been no update whatsoever done to this house. Everything was original. We hired Altieri Construction to help us with updating this dinosaur and couldn't be happier with his work. He began by changing out every window in the house from the old, worn, wooden windows to new energy efficient vinyl windows. Lots of savings there in heating costs and noise reduction! He was professional, reliable and neat. We were completely satisfied with the installation. Next we had to update our kitchen. It consisted of metal cabinets that were so old they were rusted through, and old porcelain sink and a stand-alone old old stove. Frank helped us to select our new cabinets, countertops and a configuration that would work in a rather small space. (I've included a before and after picture of the kitchen.) The results were fabulous. We couldn't be happier with the work he's done for us and would most definitely use him again on our next project and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

We needed to make a metal base for a 500 pound marble top. Veronica came in person to measure everything. She was very precise and detailed oriented. She kept us up to date in regards to the progress and came personally to do the installation. The installations went smoothly and because the metal base was so heavy the paint got chipped in a couple of places while they were bringing it it. She came back twice after that to do the re touch up. Would love to work with her again! Highly recommend her and she's very professional!

I was pleased that I had found a shop with the quality skills to complete my project. They acted promptly and the quality of the work was exemplary. Highly recommend for one of a kind metal art and functional metal projects.

I called Lewis-Hasenfeld because I wanted to spruce up my Manhattan apartment, from the very beginning they (Christian Lewis) were incredibly helpful and sensitive to my needs. I have a very small apartment and needed some help with not just decor but also making the little space I have effective. They started by compartmentalizing the closets then went from there. They then designed and fabricated a gorgeous glass and metal shelving unit and matching dining table for me which I was able to afford because they helped me pick out the rest of my furniture on Craigslist and saved me an huge amount of money while still purchasing some wonderful pieces for me (including some wonderful original artwork for the walls). Christian was great at working together with me and from picking colors to hanging the artwork I really felt that it was an honest collaboration. Within 2 weeks my apartment was organized, more spacious and had an actual continuity in regards to theme. I would highly recommend Lewis-Hasenfeld to anyone considering re-doing the interior of there space, they are a pleasure to work with, my friends are all amazed at the transformation and when I tell them how much it cost me they really can't believe it.

It was a steel box for our new private facility. They also did the installation. They fabricated and installed 4 prices. They offered powder coating the box but we did not have to. Will do work again with elk.
