My deck was in bad shape. It has several spindles and deck boards that needed repair. The deck was stained many years ago - the stain was peeling and it looked awful. Harry did an excellent job repairing, power washing, and then staining it with a deck restorer stain. He was neat and cleanup along the way. What a difference! The deck looks wonderful and we are extremely happy.
Our experience with G and M Landscaping was great. We hired G&M to take care of some building repair (interior and exterior) that was needed in order for us to receive our security deposit back at the end of a lease. Mario Villasenor was a pleasure to work with. I contacted G & M on a Friday, Mario came out to the job site the following Monday to confirm pricing, and completed the job on Wednesday of the same week. We are very happy with their efficiency, price & the final product. Thank you guys!
John is very accommodation and made everything look good under a budget while meeting and exceeding my expectations! The job wasn't easy, he had to repair mistakes made by previous contractors. New sub floors and flooring, trim, cabinets, drywall and repairs, plumbing of the toilet and sinks and vanities. It's a very old apt and nothing is square or even but he made it look fresh and new!
Quick and easy. Wasn't home when Nick installed my fence but he sent me pictures after it was done to make sure I was satisfied
Couldn't have been a better person to deal with. Brian came right out, gave me an estimate and was back the next morning with parts to repair the shower faucet. Better than fair on his prices with no markup on parts. Patient, pleasant, and respectful. We plan on hiring him again for other repairs/projects.
Gerhard did a fine job and provided insight to another home repair project. He was straight forward, honest, and completed the project. I would hire him again.
We hired Edison to repair portions of the ceilings with retaping and mudding, painting the ceiling and installing molding. They did a really good job. We look forward to hiring them to complete the molding upstairs as well as a possible bathroom project.
The staff were friendly and went above and beyond in procuring the parts needed. The cost estimate was fair and very competitive. The project was completed quickly and it was well done. I highly recommend them for your fence repair/replacement needs.
Mel worked on various repairs including repairing a water damaged ceiling, a warped baseboard also from water damage and rehang a garden gate. Mel had to track down a replacement baseboard piece and garden gate hinge. He also painted the two front porches, the repaired ceiling and a wall. Mel is very easy to work with and does quality work.
Hired Jerry & Carr Services LLC- Needed a door fixed ASAP for new tenants moving into my house in Bridgeport CT. He knows the trade and was very efficient with the task at hand. The big thing here is he was able to squeeze me into his busy schedule. I've hired lots of contractors and this guy is neat and very professional. He will be my go to guy for anything I need in Bridgeport. Thank you for the door repair
Nathan and crew did a great job taking down 10 trees in our backyard. They were able to take apart and reassemble our fence in order to get back there and the fence was no worse for the wear. Initially it was scoped as a 2-day job, but they were able to complete in 1. Very happy with the job they did and would recommend to anyone. In terms of price, Nathan worked with us to offer a competitive quote. That in conjunction with my gut feeling that he was a good guy, led us to choose CT Green.
Matt and his team were hired to clean the gutters at my mother's home. As a retired widow and wonderful woman of a certain age, my mother was anxious about hiring a contractor on her own because my father had managed home repair/improvement. Since he died, many home maintenance jobs have not been done - especially the gutters. Matt came to her home and was very kind and thorough when providing an estimate. I appreciated that he took the time to look at the gutters because it gave my mother the comfort that he could be trusted because he "didn't pull a figure out of the air" (mom's quote). On the day of the job, Matt arrived with his team of three and introduced them to my mother. The men were timely, very friendly and thorough. The gutters were bad - 4" of cement-like build up with little saplings growing out of it! The guys got rid of it in an hour. The experience was excellent. I recommend Matt and, if my mom used a computer, she would post a recommendation too!
Roof repaired quickly and by very professional workers!
When Nick gets into a project he is a "ninja". His work is clean, professional and precise. He has done a variety of projects for us, but the one with which I was most impressed was when he replaced the corner of a structure attached to our house. The corner was rotted from water damage and he was able to repair it and reuse the vinyl siding we have so that you wouldn't know anything had been done there. Nice!
Vinyl Plank Floor repair; on time; fair price; quality work
Jim was great to work with. My great aunt's Victorian bedroom set was water damaged due to a plumbing leak. It needed a lot of work from repair to refinishing. Jim took great care doing the work. He gave a clear time and money estimate and kept me informed every step of the way,
I've spent countless hours reading customer reviews, canvassing contractor's website, viewing multiple social media platforms in search of a carpenter that meets my criteria which is honest, skilled/knowledgeable, trustworthy, clean and considerate. Basically I was looking for a professional who would listen to what I wanted and then do it. I have found this request extremely difficult to achieve. Ergo, I will try to further describe my expectations and ultimately the carpenter I found, Frank Altieri of Altieri Construction who not only meet my criteria but also exceeded my wildest dreams by transforming my space into the beautiful, relaxing, serene room it was meant to be. A carpenter who would treat (e.g., not track mud throughout my house, unnecessary dirty hands on walls, using a drop cloth to place tools on instead of my hardwood floor) my home/items in it with respect. Frank placed drop clothes- CLEAN drop clothes throughout my house. He used plastic to cover areas a drop cloth couldn't be used. One rainy day his crew needed to come in & out of my house multiple times, walking through a muddy patch each time. His crew took the time to take on & off booties (cloth cover wraps) so that my floors would not get destroyed. These are the little things to me that make all the difference in the world. A carpenter who was as considerate of my time as they are of their own. Now having said that, I am very familiar with the day to day scheduling difficulties a tradesmans encounters due to the inability to predict the length of time each job may be. I understand the many variables (e.g., having to leave a job to get a part, delays at stores when buying materials, having to load & unload materials, setting up & breaking down jobs, travel time, traffic, discussion with customers that take longer then expected, having to get fuel, pulling off road to take a call, etc.) a tradesman must deal with. Although I understand these challenges, the tradesman I hire must be one that is considerate enough to call/text if the time needs to be changed. The office staff with Altieri Construction did contact me prior to my schedule job start date to inform me of a conflict and that we would need to reschedule. My job ended up being delayed for almost 2 weeks because of commitments on both of our ends. I have to admit I did understand but of course I was disappointed. I wanted my job done yesterday I was ready to go why wasn't he? Then I realized the world does not revolve around me and although I was hiring Altieri Construction I did not own them. So I waited and once the wait was over well... I WAS TICKLED PINK, ON TOP OF THE WORLD, OVER THE MOON, HAPPY AS A CLAM, ON CLOUD NINE IN SEVENTH HEAVEN. The job Altieri Construction did left me speechless! It was amazing and exactly what I asked for! Mr. Altieri prior to the start of my job explained in detail the steps/process involved, I must admit I can not recall these details but that is why he is the expert, the skilled & knowledgeable tradesman and I am not. I am the customer, the more than satisfied customer who can honestly say, Every cent I spent was worth it and that is a gratifying feeling! Frank Altieri, the owner of Altieri Construction was honest, he did exactly what he said he would which was exactly what I asked. They were trustworthy, clean and considerate. The areas of my house they were not working on were left just the same as the day before they arrived. Anyone searching for a carpenter/handyman? I strongly recommend: Frank Altieri, owner of Altieri Construction of Trumbull, CT www.altiericonstruction.com Phone: 203-449-4581 Email: email@example.com
Mr. Castro was on time, and did an excellent job with my sloping yard and all trimming around steps and fence etc. He even cleaned up grass clippings from patio without our asking. Excellent work and hope to have him back again next month! Hire this guy!!
We needed our 2 decks repaired and stained. Steve was prompt, neat about his work and surroundings and did a very nice job. He stood by his quoted price although there were added expenses and more details. He is a very reliable and pleasant contractor.
Repaired a old leaking faucet in the bath tub. Good communication before the job was started. Matching new faucets and spout.
I have used Dupree Carpentry many times for repairs and updates in my house. I feel that Mr. Dupree is very professional and knowledgable. He shows up on the agreed upon time and/ or is flexible and will work with your schedule. He is extremely knowledgable and has saved me ALOT!!!! of money and time. Knowing a little about the field, I have felt him to be honest and forthcoming when adding on to a job (for safety or cohesiveness of the over-all job) Ultimately I will always use Dupree Carpentry for any of my home projects no matter how big or small, and I highly recommend anyone in the tri-state area in need of an outstanding carpenter using him as well.
