Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Expert one-on-one service from a professional musician/teacher who cares about each and every student who walks thru the door. My goal is to invite the student to begin to enjoy the rewards of working hard and playing hard -- at the piano and IN LIFE. There comes a time in every student's life when they face a turning point...they either rise to the challenge and make visible progress OR....they keep giving the minimum effort and never feel the joy of achievement at the piano. My service helps the student take this leap and seamlessly pass from beginner to intermediate to early advanced, and beyond. I very much enjoy using the tools I was shown by my master teachers in order to guide my young pianists to excellence and proficiency. As a teacher, I am interested in fostering the love of music and in particular, the enchantment with the PIANO! One does not have to be a grand master to enjoy sitting at the instrument and bringing forth the sound of melodies, harmonies, hands crossing over one another, the discovery of the language of music, for indeed, it is like learning a new language. And it is with this in mind, I am intent on watching my students closely and devising their weekly lesson plans so as to help them go home with a clarity of purpose and with luck, inspiration to improve and progress. They are advised to phone me with problems and difficulties so they don't waste time practicing incorrectly. I devote time for all my young musicians-in-the-making whenever possible and encourage them to listen to classical music, especially, and to attend concerts and programs with their parents. It builds interest and curiosity. The ability to play the piano is a lifelong endeavor, a thrill in the best of times, and a solace in difficult times. Watching my students grow and mature in life and in music and knowing I played a part in this dramatic process! I also like being a mentor and friend to my young musicians-in-the-making. Tuition -- I have four levels of pricing: 1) very young children age 6 to 8 ($40 per 1/2 hr.) 2) children age 8 to 11 ($45 per 3/4 hr.) 3) older students from 12 to 21 ($48 per hr.) 4) Adults from age 22 -- ($55 per hr.) * Mature adults (65 yrs.

Pam is a brilliant and dedicated teacher. Her love for piano and music is contagious and she has a passion for guiding her students into the fascinating world of music. Pam has high expectations for her students, values detailed work and emphasizes playing from the heart. Through her inspiring guidance during the past two years, Pam has not only helped me build a solid foundation of piano techniques and greatly enlarged my repertoire, but also brought my music appreciation and interpretation to a much higher level. As an adult learner, I could fulfill my dream of playing the piano confidently and beautifully because of her. Each lesson has brought me a new sense of enlightenment, about the beauty in music and in life. I'm very grateful that I have such a wonderful teacher and the transformative experience of working with her.

My experiences at Aysgarth Piano Studio are truly amazing! Ms.Kalt is a pleasure to collaborate and work with. I encourage you to take lessons from her because I guarantee you WILL get your money's worth. She is a talented woman who is devoted to teaching the piano. When I started taking lessons at the age of seven, I only had a basic knowledge of the piano and music. Without the help of Ms.Kalt, I would never have been the pianist I am today! Now, I'm eleven years old and have learned to play the Clementi Sonatina, a Bach Prelude and many more! She has changed the way I think about music and the piano. I continue to take lessons and won't quit. She has been an inspiration to me and other students. Overall, I rate Ms.Kalt ten of ten. This is because of her amazing efforts she puts into teaching of us students. Ms.Kalt is the first teacher I highly recommend because of her amazing integrity and effort she puts into teaching us students. I hope you find this review helpful and wish to see you taking lessons from Ms.Kalt!
