Introduction: Lapde So, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor who is nonjudgmental, patient, supportive, and understanding. She can give an outside, unbiased perspective to help you navigate life obstacles. She specializes in mental health counseling and drug and alcohol treatment. She has experience in group and family therapy as well as individual counseling. She can do drug and alcohol assessments and mental health evaluations. She primarily uses cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and a solution-focused approach; however, she feels that therapy should be collaborative and thus, she utilizes whichever therapeutic techniques will help the client. She looks for negative patterns of behaviors and helps you make sense of them in order to change them. She works with clients of all ages from adolescents, to young adults, to older adults. She has flexible hours to accommodate your schedule including evening and weekend availability and is conveniently located in Westport, Connecticut, off of the Post Road near Kings Highway.
