FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every event brings its own unique dynamic that constitutes the pricing. Every attempt to adhere to a customer request is made, and I never make promises I can't keep. Travel time and the extra time needed to set up and break down the equipment may be added to the estimate you see for the event. Also, since this is not my full-time job, I can afford to keep my prices low.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After a few messages back and forth, I like to set up a phone call or video conference call to go through the process and talk about the event. I lay out all the pricing in advance so there are no hidden fee's later. It's important to me that the relationship will continue in the future. My customers are never kept in the dark and during the event, I do not consume any alcohol.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a student of the business. I have been working with pageants for 15 years. Professionally, I've worked in the insurance business for 18 years. I graduated with a 2nd Masters in October 2019 and used to play in a band. I spend most summers raising money for pediatric cancer patients.
