The guys arriving at appointment time and finished early according to the contract. My house was filled with pet odor and now I can finally have my house back. Also removed items from our porch at no charge. Highly skilled and certainly recommend. Owner makes sure the customer is satisfied.
We chose Trenton to assemble our patio furniture set, initially due to the best and lowest estimate from a number of other bids. Trenton was very punctual and finished the project to our complete satisfaction and in a very timely manner. I highly recommend Trenton for such projects.
Walter showed up on time, got the job done quickly and correctly, and didn't leave a mess behind like some plumbers I've dealt with in the past. Not only would I recommend him for a future job, I've already taken my own advice -- he's also a general contractor, and I'm already using him for an exterior house repair this weekend.
Very happy with Robert's work. He drywalled an addition and plastered over a cement wall that was in rough shape. He gave us options to help stay in our price range, and showed up on time to do great work. Would definitely hire him again!
We hired Ryan to completely redo an upstairs bathroom, all the way down to the floor joists, which had significant water damage. Ryan gave us a very reasonable quote, started work very promptly and did outstanding quality work, all while being very professional and easy to contact and work with. Would most certainly recommend him to anyone for similar jobs. Photos of the completed bathroom included.
I hired Antonio, of Renaissance Restoration, to do several projects. They included: 1) rebuilding the curb in my shower that was installed improperly by a different contractor; 2) Finishing a half-bath remodel that included refinishing and painting the drywall after they had be damaged from wallpaper removal, installing a vanity including plumbing and trim; 3) Repairing water-damaged hardwood floors and refinishing hardwood floors in the kitchen, dining room, bathroom, hall and stairway; 4) Expanding the kitchen entrance by 2 inches, repairing and refinishing the drywall and wood floor. I was at first skeptical to hire one person to complete all these tasks due to the variety of skills required. Fortunately, Antonio had all the skills necessary to complete the job expertly and timely. His attention to detail and vast experience with carpentry and contracting work in general proved to be invaluable. The end result of each project was even better than I had expected. Needless to say I would hire Antonio again for my next project.
Last Spring, Brandon Contractor LLC completed several projects in my home with excellent quality and customer service! I had recently purchased a foreclosure and was looking for a reliable contractor to complete a few projects. Mr. Vega and I met so that I could share my vision for the projects that I wanted completed - a small window cut in the wall above the kitchen sinking looking into the living room, refinishing the front door, backsplash in the kitchen and painting the upstair hallway and stairway. We met to pick out materials and I was allowed to provide my input as well as receive suggestions from Mr. Vega that would improve the overall job. When the work begun, a possible concern was noted by Mr. Vega and his team with plumbing. It was addressed immediately. All of the projects were completed in a timely manner and I am extremely satisfied with the outcome! The team was professional, courteous and the pricing was great! I often receive complements from visitors to my home and I plan to use the company again in the near future to spruce up my patio. I highly recommend Brandon Contractor LLC for any of your home improvement projects!
John was great! Very professional -- did an awesome job on my patio. I didn't have a spicket to hook up the hose, but he just did everything by hand and it looks amazing now.
Mr. Burch was polite, skilled, hard-working and great at responding to messages. He fixed cracked mortar on my front porch, back patio and retaining wall, and did a good job. (Actually, he did more than I asked him.) I feel I got great value for money. I would (and will) definitely hire him again.
The job was to demolish and reconstruct a patio fence enclosure in the same manner and design of existing neighborhood approved (HOA) fencing. All construction debris and old fencing was to be hauled away. The job was scheduled for two days with two workmen and completed on time. The required design was spot on as required and the workmanship was excellent. The workmen were excellent carpenters, knew their craft well and did a flawless job and all at a reasonable price.
I was very pleased with the professionalism, skill and attention to detail that Saul and his assistant provided yesterday. This was a relatively straightforward carpentry repair project -- replacing a damaged wooden balustrade on our front porch, and repairing woodpecker damage on the portico above it. The price was fair, and Saul even reduced it slightly when he realized that the job took less time than he had anticipated. An excellent experience all the way around.
Excellent attention to detail! Henry was very professional and thorough. Was able to do cabinet painting, stair painting, tile work, and everything needed to make our kitchen new again. The price was also very reasonable.
We are very pleased with our new 6 foot wooden fence! Ernesto was very good about returning phone calls and answering questions. The installers were very pleasant and thoughtful of our property. They worked very hard to complete our project in a timely manner. The best part is that our new fence looks great! We will definitely be using FEMAR Landscaping & Lawn Care LLC for our other lawn care needs.
We hired Christian and 5th Gen to do a full gut of our kitchen including opening up a wall to our dining room, plus some work to better integrate the former sleeping porch at the back of the house. From the initial meeting, Christian seemed genuinely interested in our project and in being a good thought partner for us, and that continued throughout the project. 5th Gen is a small, family operation with all of the associated pros and cons. They are helpful, friendly, responsive, and genuinely invested. With limited capacity, it can be hard to nail down a start date, or someone gets sick and hard to reach for a day or two. As they so often do, our scope expanded in the course of the project (along with our budget), but in the end we are SO happy with our kitchen and dining area. Hector, our foreman, was great to work with, and supportive of every crazy question or idea we came up with. If anything, he let us add too much without reigning us in. If your budget is firm, we would recommend pushing for regular timeline and budget updates to ensure you stay on track -- we would have benefited from some earlier communication on that front. All fair and worth it, but would have appreciated more warning. The team seemed to take this feedback very seriously when it was provided, and seems ready to make the adjustments. If a small, flexible operation you can really work with is what you want, 5th Gen is a great choice.
Alex is a terrific! He did an excellent job with my roof, basement restoration and inside/outside painting. I will use him always. And his prices are more than reasonable. I'm so glad I have him.
I have no idea where to start! Erick and his team were some of the most professional, friendly, sincere, considerate, hardworking, talented folks I have ever had the pleasure of working with. When someone has a contractor in and out of their home, for a few weeks (we had some surprises lurking in the walls), you want someone you can trust and feel comfortable with. I feel like Erick, Rony Jr. and Rony Sr. became a part of our family and when they left, I cried. I interviewed multiple contractors, Your Contractor was one of the firsts, and throughout the whole process of selecting a contractor, Erick's personality and ideas just stuck! For our project, we wanted a very specific color of gray cabinetry, Erick stuck it out with us and searched on our behalf for the perfect cabinet...BEFORE we even signed the contract! He was there for any question I threw at him from what type of garbage disposal, an instant-hot faucet, radiators, lighting, magnetic knife rack, floating shelves, etc. He was just a text message away. He had great ideas and resources to help you find the right product at the right price. We had a tricky project. It was a kitchen addition that had little to no backup of when it was added onto our 1935 house. Our floors had to be grinded down by 2-4 inches in some areas just to make it ready for self leavening compound so we could install a tile floor. Surprise! This was a major set back as we had no idea that it was that uneven, but Erick took care of us. Our radiator had a broken valve and Erick did the research on how to best mitigate and correct that. Surprise! We had to reroute a ton of wiring, junction boxes and just make our electrical system safe! Surprise! We had a catycorner range/oven situation that Erick had to somehow work out...and he did, it's gorgeous. He tiled the equivalent of 80-some-sqft of backsplash. We knew that our project would be complicated, tricky and have some surprises for us and it never phased Erick. We also had some extra side work completed by Erick and his team. We had central AC installed a few months ago which left gaping holes in our drywall. In an old 1935 house, the drywall (like the floors) are uneven and old, you can't even tell that we patched massive holes all over the place. The paint is expertly matched too. Erick "Just wants to make you happy" which I think he said to me at least once a day, everyday and we are VERY happy. He also made certain that our cat stayed safe throughout the whole process. It was a worthwhile investment not only in a gorgeous, functioning, pinterest worthy, ChipnJoannaGainesesqe kitchen but in a delightful opportunity to get to know Erick. I can't wait to get started on our next project with him. I HIGHLY recommend Erick and Your Contractor. Give them a chance, be honest with him, show him pictures and work with him on a design that you will fall in love with and he will deliver! If you are considering Erick and want to talk to a reference- ask him to contact me - I am happy to share our story! I wanted to add photos of the before and after! The first picture was it, a stove, three cabinets, dishwasher and a fridge, now we have so many cabinets that I need to go shopping to fill and a perfect work triangle. Anything awesome looking...well that's Erick's work :) (Ignore the windows, they are ancient and we didn't want to redo them so please don't judge Erick on those - totally on us!) Erick - I know you will read this and I just want to say again - THANK YOU so much for everything. I miss you already! Appliances: Samsung suite, gas range, dishwasher, hood, four door french refrigerator Sink: Krause Sink, Brizo Faucet and soap dispenser, Insinkerator disposal and Instant-Hot Hot water dispenser Papertowel Holder: Etsy Floating Shelves: Colonial Hardwood for the boards, Amazon for floating shelf brackets Magnetic Knife Rack: Wayfair Cabinets: Marsh Cabinet Brand, Door Savannah and color Storm
I hired Cesar to build a laundry unit/closet in my house and build a kitchen in my basement. He did a great job and was helpful in thinking through designs/trouble shooting. Would definitely hire again!
GET Home Improvement and Cleaning LLC completed both inside and outside the house projects. Inside the house, GET Home demoed, framed, drywalled, sistered a joist brace, painted, completed the trim, installed hardwood railing, doors, and corrected the toilet connection. In all three county inspections (framing, pre-conseal, final), Arlington county inspectors reviewed and passed GET’s interior work in the first inspection. Outside the house, GET Home power washed the large patio, stripped and painted a wooden front porch cover and cleaned the property. Overall, I was very satisfied with GET Home’s work and professionalism.
Porch nothing could be better DTL the best price best work and very quick to finish
We hired David to work on our deck and basement floor as we prepare to put our house on the market. David did a fantastic job! If you are looking for someone who produces quality work, on time, and on budget, David is your guy! We will be utilizing his services again!
Rivera and Son Contractors went above and beyond to complete my deck in a short time frame. They worked at a constant pace and the outcome is absolutely stunning. We loved them so much we are having another quote done for the front porch now too!
