I have taken Gentle Yoga with Asya at Sun & Moon for years. When I heard that she was offering a more personalized therapeutic class, I jumped at the chance to address my particular problems -- back issues, bad knee, Morton's neuroma in my toes -- all things that made some yoga poses very challenging for me. It was wonderful to have her focus on my issues, and she helped me develop a personal practice to work on these things. Her gentle and encouraging voice, strong knowledge of anatomy, and inventive teaching style made it pleasurable as well as useful.

I used to hate Yoga, until I started taking class with Melissa. Her classes are a great workout, and you feel both relaxed and enthused afterwards. People have started telling me I look amazing, and the only difference is Melissa's yoga class. I can not recommend her enough.

I greatly admire Ms Campora as my yoga teacher. My one to one sessions were absolutely administered with great care to my back conditions. She did what doctor could not do with pushing all the chemicals in my body. Ms campora has transformed me to the extent that I am greatly involved in yoga and meditation and learning through inner engineering. Thank you Ms Campora for changing my thoughts and my life. I do not have right words to explain what you did. Thank you. Namaste. OHM!!!!!!!!

Gretchen is my yoga instructor who comes to the house. She comes once a week for an hour, and the sessions are on-going. I engaged Gretchen when my sciatica was at its worst, and I couldn't put on my socks. She has helped amazingly well with increasing my mobility. The best aspect is her flexibilty in schedule and knowledge to tailor the session to my current health situation. I cannot think of anything Gretch could improve. She already provides the yoga equipment I don't have and already is knowledgable how yoga can help (or willing to research if she does not know). I considert Gretchen to be an excellent teacher and an excellent resource for anyone who wants or needs at home yoga instruction.

Hillary is an excellent teacher! She is effusive, qualified and fun. She manages to put planks in perspective with personal anecdotes and genuine humor. Her style is a hybrid of barre, yoga, and Pilates. Class is always interesting and HARD. A million thumbs up!

This evening I took Natasha's yoga class at LaFitness. This was my first time in her class of which I was impressed. She knew her moves and poses and gave good instruction. Will be attending her class.

Nicole is amazing. Her credentials say she is a certified fitness trainer and yoga instructor, and she is every bit of that. She is a master of her crafts. But she is way more. She is a coach, confidant, motivator, and most of all, a gifted healer. As a physician, I know a healer when I encounter one. I feel so blessed to have invited Nicole to help me with my journey. After just a few weeks of being tortured by Nicole (nobody says health and fitness are easy) I am in my best shape in years. If I learn some of her amazing communication and motivational skills, she may make me a better doctor as well.

I've been doing yoga on and off for the last 15 years and Kate is one of my favorite instructors in DC. I've been taking classes with her since she started her instruction at CorePower. She has a great energy, which makes even the most challenging of classes fun. The way a class or flow sequence is queued is important to me and Kate's instruction is easy to follow. I've been in classes that have a mix of skill levels and she makes an effort to be sure that everyone gets the most from their respective practice. I also like that she's really committed to her own practice and advancement as a yogi and an instructor. Great, great yoga instructor!

Selene's yoga session was great. I felt like I learned so much just from one session about how to do each pose correctly and how to modify poses in a beneficial way when you're not totally there yet. Selene's vibe is accepting, warm and encouraging & I didn't feel pressured to do everything perfectly. At the end of our session I felt rejuvinated in mind, body & spirit. Highly recommend!!

About

We, at Anjali Online Yoga Studio, provide one-on-one interactive yoga lessons. Our instructor is a yoga expert from India, the land from where it all began thousands of years ago. He conducts private lessons one-on-one exclusively for each student from his own studio in Bangalore, India. Concept and practice of yoga originated in India several thousand years ago by great saints and sages. As time went by, it has taken its place in everyday life, and has aroused worldwide awakening and acceptance in the last few decades. Modern health science has realized its role in the prevention and management of various health disorders both by itself, as well as a complement to conventional treatment. Although many online tools and recorded class instructions are available to download, there is nothing as effective and satisfying as one-on-one, interactive sessions. It is to fill this lacuna that we launched an online yoga studio to enable one-on-one, instructor-supervised online learning from any remote location in the world. We have designed the general fitness yoga for normal fit people to maintain and improve their current fitness level and to enhance performance and confidence. The details of this fitness program is available in the class curriculum section. Before actually accepting a prospective student for this program, we ask the student to fill out a background information questionnaire on our website and make it point to review this background information to make sure that the person is indeed healthy enough to perform the exercises.
