I have worked multiple times with Cesar, for a range of things from furniture assembly to installation of hardware in bathrooms and door bell chimes and the like. It's been great working with Cesar, he is friendly and accommodating.
Conceivable Conceptions was extremely professional. Timely, responsive and the work was great! He installed our baby gate without any issue. Will definitely use again!
True to the other reviews, Brandon was not only on time, but he was early! I need help anchoring furniture to the wall in my baby's nursery, installing a stair baby gate, lowering a crib mattress, and fixing a faucet. He worked quickly while he was here without sacrificing quality. The quote was fair, and he even helped do another small project while he was here. I definitely plan on using Brandon's services again in the future.
Completed fan installation, TV installation and a couple other misc projects around the house. Great value and service.
Tim was very communicative and punctual. He helped me set up a complicated baby gate, fixed a loose bathroom fixture that had plagued me for five years, and install a ceiling hook. Very pleasant and professional! Highly recommend.
Robert was great at assembling all our baby furniture for our nursery. We're well pleased with his service.
This company deserves overall a Zero! I hired them to help me move my 1 bedroom apartment from MD to DC. I should have cancelled it from the very beginning when they wanted to charge me extra money for using my credit card vs cash!!?? Moving day: The time for arrival was set for 4 pm. The owner kept on postponing the arrival time with various stories why they were being late. I told them we needed to be at my building by 8pm as that was the end of the moving in time window and the building loading dock was closing at that time. I send several texts and tried calling multiple times to the company. They arrived close to 7 pm. WE arrived at my building late. I had to waste my time looking for a security guard who was kind enough to cooperate with us and let us use another loading dock which was a real hike to my entrance ( another extra hour wasted) . My plants were broken and I feared other items did too. And I was right. I demanded discount for the service and to be also reimbursed for the broken items. we negotiated discount and as I was tired and frustrated i agreed to 15% off. As for the reimbursement, I was told to send them all the photos of broken items and estimated cost. I did. Even after a number of emails and phone calls and almost 2 and a half months after the service, I have not been reimbursed yet. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
Highly recommended! We needed to move selected pieces to a storage unit. Greg and his team were ready at the requested time - arrived a little before to be sure - and worked quickly to get items downstairs so the dedicated elevator could be released for passengers. On arrival at the storage unit, the team placed items just as I had measured/planned to get everything into a tight space, even when it involved overhead lifting or crawling on the floor to scoot items closer together. Really appreciate the effort! I was also impressed with Greg's professionalism. He responded quickly to my request and was (I suspect) the only vendor to read through my requirements before responding - he tailored his quote to my situation, rather than just asking me to call to discuss. He provided insurance information as requested by our building and stayed in touch before Move Day to make sure everything was still on track. We had a small-world moment when we realized that Greg's company had been hired by a furniture vendor to do an installation for us a couple months ago. In that situation, they worked in an open office during the business day and did not disrupt our operations at all. We are a pretty laid-back place, but still - that is impressive. I was glad to know that the same team was managing today's move!
James helped me install 3 baby gates. It took a little longer than either of us expected because of the various types and sizes of baseboards. With some minor alterations, the job was completed a few hours later. He did a few other odd jobs around the house as well. Overall, he was very pleasant to work with and I'm happy to have the gates up!
Antonio was wonderful. He was clean, efficient, and very knowledgeable. He installed a new kitchen faucet and repaired a fence gate. I would definitely hire him again.
Stewart was wonderful to work with. He was here on time for both the initial proposal meeting as well as on the day he did our paint work and always immediately answered all of my calls and text messages throughout the process. He had said he would paint our baby's nursery in one day, and exceeded our expectations by completing it within 5.5 hours. Most importantly, he and the other gentleman that worked with him did a quality job. The paint coats were evenly applied, no drip marks, and crisp straight lines around the ceiling/base/trim. They properly protected our floors, and did a great job cleaning up before they left. I should also mention that out of 4 bids, Custom Wallcoverings was the 2nd to lowest price, so Stewart's pricing is very competitive and fair. I highly recommend Stewart to anyone who needs paint or wallpaper work. He's one of the few contractors around here that can be counted on to show up when promised and will get your job done right.
Herbert is fantastic! I can't recommend him more. He did such a great job installing my custom baby gates - I will definitely be using him again!
Nilto and his team were fantastic! We have a baby on the way and had way too many rooms to paint to handle it ourselves. We contacted a bunch of contractors and, based on reviews and an interview, hired Nilto. Couldn’t be more happy with our decision! The paint is dry and it looks incredible! Thank you so much for the hard work!
Tony did a beautiful job installing an office door in our house, and at an affordable price! It was a tricky installation because the doorway wasn't plumb and the new door abutted another door, but he and his colleague cut and adjusted everything so that the door hangs, opens, and closes beautifully, with no obstructions. If I had known the installation would look this good, I would've had it done ages ago. Thank you Tony!
Lee was on time, professional and meticulous at completing my brand new fence gate(s). He was all business and did what he could to save me money where he could. I will keep his phone number on hand for future projects. Highly recommend him.
Recently used Mop and Move for a baby grand piano. Super professional group of men. Took great care of the piano disassembling it and wrapping it for delivery. Customer receiving the piano was also very happy with the performance of Mop and Move. Would highly recommend them again.
Hammid was super professional, courteous (he was even so sweet to my baby!), and took one look at my complicated microwave door handle, and quickly processed how to fix it! He will also be coming back to change the exhaust fan/vent in my bathroom. I plan on calling on Hammid for all the things that need fixing in my home prior to selling it - he's reasonably priced and incredibly fast.
Overall, the installation went well. The handle on the gate was installed crooked and needs to be adjusted. Time will tell as to how everything holds up.
Ogi from Rangel LLC did an excellent work at my house. He did assemble the baby crib and changing table. I was not able to open my kitchen drawers. Now they work so well and smooth because of Ogi. The service price is so reasonable and with the excellent work I will always rely on Rangel LLC.
I hired Creative Services to design, convert (from studs), and finish a portion of the basement, (appx.900sq.ft) while leaving plenty of unseen storage space. At our 1st meeting, I explained to Mr. Bertran, I have a very difficult time envisioning ; size, proportion or placement, but I had a picture in my mind of what I wanted. Mr. Bertran suggested I share my vision with him, and he would translate my thoughts, into a rough drawing, to be used as a starting point. What I "saw" was; a nice size entertaining/TV area, a comfortable space, where I can work on my jewelry pieces, and when needed, it would become a dining/buffet area. The last part of my vision included; a wall that could be mirrored, hold a couple of ballet barre's, floor space large enough for both my Instructor, and me. In addition, the ceiling, and beam placement, needed to comply with the detailed specifications, of the Aerial Yoga System that will b coming soon. Obviously storage, was essential! Mr. Bertran, Ralph, was very patient while listening to my vision, and extremely understanding and kind, while he explained all the current options available for; lighting, wiring, outlets, flooring, doors, license's, inspections... Honestly, I hadn't given these "details" much thought. I spent my career in the World of Finance, and I was completely outside my "comfort zone"! I found his knowledge impressive, as well as his ability to explain, so even I, understood, was much appreciated, and in some aspects, comforting. It was evident, from the beginning, Mr. Bertran set high standards for himself, and for anyone he employs. Mr. Bertran was involved in every aspect of my project, whether the task was completed by Creative Services, or a sub-contractor. I could see, throughout the project, Ralph, not only had that "old fashioned" sense of pride for each job, small or large, he truly loves what he does. I found it more than reassuring, that every Inspector who came to approve and sign off on their particular component, made the same comment, albeit with slight variations. They each told me,"I have not seen this much attention paid to details in long time. The quality of your renovation, is Top Notch" I was so pleased with Ralph's abilities and his core values of hard work, attention to details and quality work, for a fair price, I hired Creative Services to do some additional work. I had some trees and bushes trimmed and shaped. I had a relatively new back gate, completely fall apart. Ralph was able to remove the damaged insides, and completely remake the gate, using leftover lumber and the original coverings, reducing the cost. In addition, I needed grab bars installed in two bathrooms, meeting ADA requirements, fixing & hanging a large mirror, painting the wall, a kitchen faucet repaired, gutters cleaned..Again, no job is too big, nor too small for them. I will be having Creative Services back, when I finish my list, and they have an opening.
David did a great job repairing a fence that was totally on the fritz of falling over. Because it was a rental unit and the fact that we didn't have budgeting for brand-new fence we needed someone to repair it. Not many people were willing to do the job because they wanted to start from scratch which is understandable. David did a great job incorporating the old fence with the new fence and repairing all the major parts that needed to be repaired including building a brand new gate. I can only imagine what a new fence would have looked like if it was brand-new and installed by him. David is a perfectionist through and through. Great attention to detail and quality work, he will not rest until he satisfied with making his customers happy, will definitely hire him again in the future!
