I hired Cesar Velasquez of Cesar Design to mount a flat screen TV and repair a bi-fold closet door. Cesar and his team were great - they showed up on time, were very friendly, listened to what I needed done, and did the job well. I would highly recommend Cesar Design for any handyman project.
Rob seems to be a jack of all trades who understands how things work and will perform small jobs. He installed adjustable shelving in my pantry and a bedroom closet. There were metal strips with brackets and the laminated shelving had to be custom cut. The pantry was tricky because there was an immoveable bracing board in the back, so each shelf had to have a notch cut into it to fit against the wall. The finished product is exactly what I wanted. The shelves are perfectly level in both the pantry and the closet. He worked very neatly and paid a lot of attention to measuring and cutting. I also hired him to assemble a large desk which I ordered from a catalog. It has five file drawers and a slide-out keyboard holder. He unpacked the boxes and assembled the desk perfectly. He was very careful to ensure that the cherry finish didnt get scratched during assembly. I have also seen some of his other work. He builds cornhole boards and finishes them with custom colors and logos. He creates original signs for basement bars and game rooms using fine hardwoods, hand carving, and a router. He seems to have a real talent for fine woodworking.
We requested to have our kitchen cabinets painted white. Tim came in and did a wonderful job. I know that if anything was to show up not to my liking he would come back to ensure I was happy.
EXCELLENT! This is the only way to describe everything about my experience with Tony and Omar of Renaissance Restoration. They corrected the errors of previous installers, took the time to do everything perfectly, and graciously fixed issues for which they weren't hired. Renaissance is the only company I've hired that possesses the same expectation of excellence and high standards as I...and I'm difficult to please. I am thrilled and will use them again, not just for TV mounting but for major home improvements. Don't waste your time with other companies - just call Tony.
After several estimates from plumbing vendors, I hired PJ Handyman Services for a hot water heater installation. His cost was reasonable, not too high and not too low and he responded to my urgent need of hot water with same day service, even working after business hours. Patrick is personable and knowledgeable in the services he provides and I will definitely hire him for future jobs around my house.
Mr Ingram repaired the water damaged drywall in our basement and did some electrical work also. Mr. Ingram is very skilled in his craft. We are pleased with his work.
Cristian was great. Assembled furniture, installed closet shelving, did some nice wallpapering too. He worked quickly. He was also very honest about his skills, advising that i should use a different expert for some other tasks I had to do bc he thought someone else could do a better job for me. Would hire again!
Matt's work has been excellent. He has done kitchen flooring as well as a bathroom for us, and will be doing another bathroom, kitchen backsplash, and fireplace surround for our house as well as some work on a rental property. He shows up on time, every day that he says he will be there (a rarity in contracting) and works hard. I couldn't be happier with the finished product. We will never use anyone else for tiling and are recommending to our family and friends.
Stephen did a great job fixing our door. Other repairmen quoted a full replacement. He did an honest assessment and an amazing job for a great price!
I initially hired Henry to complete some closet and cabinetry work and changed it to tile work I wanted done in the family room and foyer. He is very skilled and careful in his application. His work product is excellent and he is pleasant to work with. I recommend hiring Henry for various home improvement projects. However be certain to confirm upfront that the price quoted is an all-inclusive price. This will avoid any confusion at project completion regarding material vs. labor costs. Other than this one issue, his service is excellent.
Did a great job getting our condo ready to place on market. Repainted entire unit, caulked tubs and tile, and provided recommendations as needed. He also found space under our steps and made it into an extra closet for storage space which is a plus in a condo! Excellent communication skills and very reliable, professional, and dependable.
We needed assistance with a bathroom tile job quickly. Tim certainly came through for us - both in quality and price. Mario did an amazing job. He is extremely proficient. We can't thank you enough - the bathroom looks amazing!!!
OCD did a great job they led me in the right path to organize my basement and closet. They were the best I would hire them in a Minute.
Nothing short of outstanding! I wasn’t looking for merely a handyman, I was looking for a professional art installer with an eye for precision and taste and I 100% got that with Level Art. Chris was professional, courteous, on time, and took special care of my art.
Marcos did excellent work on my garage. He and his partner treated the work like it was my living room. I now have a pristine garage, ready to hang cabinets and shelves... I am going to call on Marcos again when I get ready to have my interior painted, as well.
My experience with Mike was awesome from my initial email to the minute he completed the work. It is difficult to find a contractor who is honest, knowledgeable, fair, professional, and friendly. Mike is the total package and no job is too big or too small for him. My closet shelving and hanging rods fell to the floor one morning. One company said it fell because it was cheap shelving and quickly provided a $745 solution. Mike saw that it wasn't the shelving but that it was installed incorrectly. He was able to reuse the shelving and recommended a way to increase use of space in the closet. He ended up improving both closets in that room, and 3 other small projects I had been unable to address; and the price was right! Mike is now my "go to" contractor for all projects in my home. I trust him, his knowledge and his work!
This company came out to my home and truly did a great job helping me get my place in order before my family arrived. They help assemble furniture as well as remove and install new drywall in my basement that was water damaged. I had originally found them on Angie's List and see they are here as well. Thanks Handyman at your Command.
Extremely professional and responsive to their customer's needs. I have done a closet with closet Pioneers and their process is all about professionalism and QUALITY!
Julio schedule an appointment the same day as I requested service. He was professional and prompt. The problem is fixed. I thought I would need to purchase a new faucet. Instead he was able to repair the existing on by tightening the gasket inside the faucet. I plan to use his service again in the next few weeks to fix several other items on my to do list!
Sean was such a great find- he went above and beyond to make the process simple for us, from pulling our ladder out of a dense closet to asking our opinion about the height of the chandelier and adjusting accordingly. He took his time and the results are better than we had hoped. We love our new lighting installation and it was Well Worth his price for ease of set up. Highly highly recommend!
Michael and Rosen have done excellent work for me for more than 15 years. They gutted and finished my master and guest bathrooms; gutted and fully remodeled my basement, including expanding the half bath there to a full bath and installing a gas fireplace; they built new stairway access to my basement; built an attached shed/garage; built a large composite deck; and finally, built our long planned addition that included a new entryway and bumped out the entire back of our house, expanding our dining room space and fully remodeling an expanded kitchen space. Milano Construction has been in business for a long time. They are a small operation, but can do anything from fix a plugged pipe to building additions. They are trustworthy, honest to a fault, and extremely fair with their pricing. They are a customer-oriented operation that can provide turn key service if you don’t want to get involved in the nitty gritty or work with you every step of the way in a truly custom way. I work from home so had the opportunity to be involved in every aspect of my projects and have learned plenty from watching over their shoulders and “helping” out along the way. These two are patient and want you to be satisfied with the outcome of the job. They don’t cut corners and do it right every time. I recommend Michael and Rosen for any handyman or remodeling work you may need. You’ll be hard pressed to find a comparably priced, dependable team that does the kind of quality work that they do. Attached are photos of our finished kitchen/dining room space, so you can get a sense for their work product.
