After watching DJ G work a wedding in North Carolina a year or two ago, we booked him for our April wedding and could not have been happier or made a better choice. From the start of the planning process, DJ G was really easy to work with and listened to what it was that we wanted. He helped us put together our wedding timeline, and outside of the songs we knew we wanted for the various events (introduction, cake cutting, etc), we explained the "vibe" we wanted and he put together a fantastic playlist for our pre-ceremony music (blue-grass/jazz), cocktail hour, and reception (eclectic dance mix). Given how busy we were, it was nice to be hands-off in that regard and know we were in capable hands. DJ G was also a pro on the mic - building up excitement when needed for introductions, but not obtrusive at all like some wedding DJs can be. We had such a good time dancing at our reception that when our photographer asked if we wanted to do a second round of photos, we happily said no because we were too busy on the dance floor. Numerous guests all commented to us how good the DJ was, and were happy that he incorporated their requests (and how nice his assistant was). Two months after the wedding, friends are still commenting on how great the dance party was - a real testament to DJ G's work. All said, DJ G was great and super competitive price-wise for the DC area. I'd definitely recommend him to any of my friends who asked about wedding DJs.

As a wedding planner, I'm always recommending vendors to my clients. I recently had the opportunity to work with Josh of DJG Events. Josh is the perfect package! Not only did he work within my clients budget, he bent over backwards to meet their needs, including downloading songs he did not have. Josh did an excellent job in keeping with the must play and do not play lists. He played all the right songs at all the right times, keeping the dance floor hopping with guests of all ages. I highly recommend DJG Events for your DJ needs. DJG Events has been added to my preferred vendor list, and I hope you will add them to yours!
