EBRR finished my hardwood floors of my new condo and did quality and timely work! Gave a nice new look altogether. Which I really appreciated. They also worked through some plumbing issues to repair the floors, and the repairs were very well done. Not to mention, the work was very affordable, and the crew was very reliable and timely. I am very happy with my finished floors, thanks EBRR Property Maintenance Services!

Brandon was great! I initially had ordered my own parts from Amazon but they never arrived. Brandon picked up the repair parts on the way to my house and the repair was speedy, professional, and correct. Will definitely use again if needed and recommend to any who needs plumbing service.

Stephen did a great job filling numerous cracks and sealing our 12,500 square foot driveway. He was competitive in price, showed up to do the job when he said he would, spent extra time filling in areas that would normally be "options" for which he did not charge me, and cleaned up afterward. Stephen is easy to talk with and to work with. I would readily recommend him for your asphalt/driveway repair and sealing needs. Alan, Purcellville, VA

Mauricio and his crew showed up as scheduled and performed the repair to my driveway precisely as we discussed. Very polite and let me know what they were going to do. Minor issue was that Mauricio forgot to give me a copy of the contract, but he did mail the copy to me when the error was discovered.

I did a lot of research before I chose Superior Driveways including reading some of the not so positive reviews from some people that tried to get in contact with the company. I have been amazed from beginning to end both from the initial quote to when the job was completed. Their pavers which I personally spoke with were all very professional and were well trained. I researched Superior Driveways and other 5 companies and got quotes from all of them, I reviewed their previous work, and requested job references and did some checking with some neighbors that had a combination of companies pave their driveways. Even though they were not the least expensive it was worth the cost, they used enough asphalt and did an amazing job covering a sink hole and paving the whole driveway. They take their job seriously and do excellent work. I will use them again if I ever need to, and will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Very prompt and responsive from giving the written price quote to the final execution of the driveway repair project. Impressive enough to convince our neighbors to opt for their services. And their price was the most competitive among the three we considered. Good job!

Driveway sealing - Contractor arrived when scheduled and was careful not to spray sealer on the house or flagstone sidewalk. Nice job.

I hired Testa Paving to install my driveway at my home. I got 3 other prices from different companies and Testa’s price was very competitive, I have heard great things about Testa paving previously from a few of my neighbors around the area so i chose them to perform the work on my driveway and i couldn’t be happier with the end result! From start to finish they were honest, polite, on time with every appointment, and the work looks great i get so many compliments from my neighbors and have already referred them to many of them, I highly recommend Testa Paving for you next project!

For any kind of masonry/landscape work, the price starts very high. It was really difficult to find a contractor who would repair our small patio for a reasonable rate. Hauling gravel and sand and lifting stones was also not a good idea for us based on our health issues. Danny P. and his uncle made the work look easy, and even provided some of the materials. They were a pleasure to work with and the price was right! We would definitely hire them again.

I would recommend A-Pak Paving to anyone! Rebecca, part owner and the most professional estimator walking onto my property, quoted my driveway project and I honestly interviewed four companies. She stayed in contact with me, answered all my questions, revised the quote when I thought about "one more thing", and never made me feel like I was asking to much. The A-Pak crew was just as professional, working from 8:30 a.m. until after 6 p.m. they stayed steady moving the entire time. They didn't leave one piece of debris in my yard and were very polite each time I checked on the progress. Saving the best for last-Neil, the project foreman and owner. A man that can only be described as a perfectionist. Working along side his crew with courtesy and stellar professionalism made me understand why this company comes so very highly recommended. I love my new driveway and truly believe it will be enjoyed for years to come. Look forward to seeing them after the first year for sealing. I wouldn't call anyone else.

    About

B Pothole FREE is a fast, professional asphalt repair service which is 50% less expensive than traditional methods. Unlike traditional methods, B Pothole FREE uses a unique patented thermal bonding technology which penetrates deep down through the damaged surface area. The process creates a strong, seamless thermal bond between the surrounding road surface and new repair to establish a new permanent mend. Each pothole repair takes approximately 20 minutes, from start to finish, significantly faster than alternative repair methods. By using our process, your driveway, private road or parking lot will be accessible much faster, rather than being tied up longer by traditional repair crews who make more noise and create more dust and disturbance. Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How do you find a good concrete contractor?

Concrete contractors pave driveways, build foundations for homes, install retaining walls, create hardscaping for front and back yards, build concrete steps, and so much more. When searching for a driveway contractor, read reviews from previous customers and ask for referrals. Ask the contractor for photos of examples of their work that’s similar to what you want. Confirm they will get the proper permits so your driveway is up to code. Hiring a driveway contractor to install concrete can average $5-$6 per square foot, or more, depending on where you live, the slope and grade of the driveway site, and regional labor costs. For a new asphalt driveway, the cost could average from $3-5 per square foot. A standard concrete driveway of 500 square feet averaging $5-$6 per square foot would cost $2,500-$3,000 — so it pays to research someone who will do quality work. Excavation and grading work can increase your cost per square foot significantly. Ask whether the contractor provides a materials and labor warranty for their work. Some cracking of the concrete may occur as it settles, but you should talk with your contractor about any structural or aesthetic concerns you have. When hiring a concrete contractor, check out our tips for smart hiring on Thumbtack.

    What do paving contractors do?

Paving contractors can be hired to install a concrete or asphalt driveway at your home, office or property. They can also repave an asphalt or concrete driveway that has been damaged by time, weather or heavy loads. When you are looking for a driveway contractor, request quotes from at least three professionals who are in good standing and have great customer reviews. They should do a site visit and write you a bid, detailing the work involved, materials needed, approximate length of the project and estimated cost.

The site for your new driveway will determine costs and the work required for your contractor. First, the ground must be excavated to lay a clear path. This means removing any trees, bushes and stumps. Next, the driveway contractor will grade the area, making a level surface for the concrete or asphalt. To ensure proper drainage, driveway contractors should install a sub-base of compacted gravel (or similar) 4 inches-8 inches deep, depending on your soil type. Then the concrete or asphalt may be poured and smoothed over the top. Your driveway contractor should recommend an appropriate sealant for your climate and advise you on curing time. When hiring a paving contractor, check out our tips for smart hiring on Thumbtack.

How much does it cost to redo a concrete driveway?

Replacing or renovating a damaged or time-worn asphalt or concrete driveway can boost your curb appeal and add to your home value. If your concrete driveway is nearing 20 years or more, it may be wise to invest in an entirely new driveway, instead of redoing your current one. Asphalt driveways average 15-20 years of life, so if you start needing major repairs around the 15 year mark, weigh the pros and cons of repairing or replacing it. Request bids from two to three driveway contractors to determine pricing and project scope, and check out our tips for smart hiring on Thumbtack. Here are some examples of average costs:

    • The national average cost to hire a concrete specialist is $2,750, but that price can vary greatly depending on the work needed to repair and resurface your concrete driveway, the square footage of the project, current costs of concrete, and regional labor rates.
    • Driveway contractors average $2-$3 per square foot to smooth and resurface your asphalt driveway.
    • Resurfacing concrete driveways averages $3-$10 per square foot. Pricing can depend on repairs needed, project size and geographic location.
    • Nationally, the average cost for resurfacing a 500-square-foot driveway ranges from $2,000 to $5,000.
    • Sealant for a concrete drive can cost $20-$80 per gallon.
    • Sealant for an asphalt drive averages 25 cents per square foot.
Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
