Note for NEW Clients: Due to the overwhelming number of new requests for work, we are often unable to keep up with the high demand or even to reply to many of you who have contacted us. We apologize to those of you who have not gotten a response. We are constantly going through the backlog of messages and sending out replies, but sometimes we simply can't get back to everyone in a timely manner. Handyman Services started from a desire to broaden my knowledge and expertise on my own, after having gained invaluable knowledge and experience working for Snowden Enterprises for several years. We've grown from doing smaller jobs, like lawn care and changing light fixtures to larger projects, like remodelling bathrooms, kitchens, and entire condos. We happily continue to dedicate the same enthusiasm to all of our variety of jobs now, big and small. Each project is given individual attention. Fast, efficient and highly professional. Ricardo and his crew Installed a railing on the front porch, replaced a gutter on the back porch, repaired and replaced tiling in a walk-in shower, repaired an outdoor gate, some painting and a couple of other smaller jobs, all within a matter of 4-5 days over a 2-week period. All with minimal disruption. A very positive experience.

Ricardo and his team are the best! We wanted some carpentry and painting done on the outside of the house. Ricardo was fast to respond, super friendly, and he and his team did excellent work. He followed up afterward to make sure we're happy (we are). We're already planning our next project and will definitely want to work with him again. Highly recommended!

Ricardo and his crew were *amazing*! We had our kitchen updated to include replacing laminate countertops with quartz and installing a tile backsplash. The first time we met Ricardo, we immediately knew he was the person for the job. He took his time trying to understand our needs and provided thoughtful input about how to achieve the best outcome. We had the best customer service experience with Ricardo that we've had with *any* service provider in the District. He was detail-oriented, communicative and set clear expectations at every stage. He perfectly executed our instructions and vision. There were a few surprises along the way (the need for a new garbage disposal and an issue with mounting our new microwave to older cabinets). With each challenge, Ricardo explained our options, gave his opinion about how to best approach the situation and was clear about impacts on cost. We also have four pets (yes, four!) and we were worried about them being in the way during the renovation. Ricardo immediately put those concerns to rest, taking time to greet each pet and asking about their personalities. He was patient with them when they were curious about what he was doing, and he took good care with coming and going while we were at work. By the time the job was completed, he'd dubbed two of the pets as his construction supervisors and nearly tried to take our long-haired cat home with him! As animal people, this meant a lot and helped put us at ease with leaving him alone with the pets. When we had our final walk though and paid our bill, Ricardo insisted he come back one last time to fix a small area that he felt needed a bit of paint. Though we offered to just do it ourselves, Ricardo said he felt most comfortable completing this finishing touch himself - an example of what an incredible perfectionist he is. We plan to update our bathroom within the next six months, and we wouldn't consider asking anyone else to do it. We cannot recommend him highly enough!

We have used Handyman Services for multiple projects throughout our house - everything from small fix-it jobs that we just aren't quite handy enough to do ourselves, to larger projects involving the building of new walls and window frames. Every time, the project is done with care and attention to detail, and the result is impeccable. Moreover, everyone who has worked on those projects is kind, responsive, and responsible, and I have no qualms about leaving my house while they are working. I highly, highly recommend them.
