From a church youth group member to a Human Services major at GWU, my passion was and still is to help others. Enhancing their experience by making them look good is perk.

I learned a lot from working with The Marilyn Experience. I learned the fundamentals of starting up your own company, how to get tasks and assignments done on time to meet deadlines and I also learned how to properly write up research papers and business/marketing plans. My favorite part was that although I was younger than most of the people she never treated me like I was any less important than the other. Oh and post card making for events was pretty cool because I had the chance to learn about these new webaites and get the chance to include my own creativity. Overall it was a great experience.where I had the chance to learn what to do and what not to do in building your own brand.

I’m a repeat customer for hair and pedicure services and the Marilyn Experience mobile spa company is fantastic. Jenise A.K.A Marilyn herself was my stylist each time. She was very personable and courteous and never once did she have my hair and toes looking anything less than fabulous. Seriously, I get compliments on my appearance from friends, coworkers and even strangers EVERY time I’ve received Marilyn’s styling services! For extremely reasonable prices, I feel like a celebrity with my own on-call cosmetic team. My only gripe is the availability of services. This is an up and coming small business and I think Marilyn still services most clients personally. While it’s great for me to have the business owner herself providing me services, as the popularity of The Marilyn Experience grows she will need to hire more cosmetologists or it will be impossible to get an appointment without significant advanced notice. There would go the convenience and poshness of having an "on-call" personal stylist.

Marilyn is very passionate about the services she provides. She is knowledgeable about the products she uses. I can appreciate it more knowing that the products are organic and natural. She is passionate, delicate, an caring for her clients...I would recommend any of her massage and nail services..

Jenise was very easy to set up a appointment . Text friendly She arrived on time, set up her table towel warner etc She was able to find where i need the most work. I already booked a second massage with her...

I enjoyed my foot massage/spa services by Marilyn Experience. She was very detailed and paid close attention to my needs as a customer in her execution. I would recommend the Marilyn Experience services to any and all of my friends. Top notch service from provided by an A-1 company.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    I get a lot of calls asking for someone to perform a nail polish change, flat iron hair or a massage. Believe it or not men call here for pedicures alot. We assume they feel more comfortable doing this in the privacy of their own home. We also offer a great foot massage (all organic products)

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Look for the fun! There are companies that set up some bowls and towels and call it a Spa Party.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

    I wish they knew how different their experience could be if they knew we were out here. We have advanced the average day salon experience. We have made luxury and convenience assessable to everyone.
