Hello! I'm a public artist wearing multiple hats, but this account is specifically for my painted murals. Formally trained by union house painters and theatrical scenic artists as a teenager, I now have over 15 years experience painting murals, with a commitment to production quality and service that stands out from the rest. I have vast technical knowledge of various types of surfaces, whether exterior or interior, and the different applications they require. My murals can be found as far away as Perth, West Australia (that was a fun trip) and throughout California, the mid-Atlantic and Midwest. Wherever I'm working, I prioritize the goals of the project, and then work backwards with my client on the best path to success.
DESIGN PROCESS - Once we agree on a price and logistics, I will send you an artist's agreement that locks in all the details. A 50% deposit of the total price will be due before we start designing together. Once deposit is received and agreement is signed, we'll set up a brief design meeting. After that, I'll create a couple rough designs for your mural and show them to you for feedback. I'll then apply your feedback to the final full-color rendering. My process is transparent so that there are never any surprises once paint touches your wall!
COSTS - I charge by the square foot, ranging from $25-45 per square foot, depending on complexity of design and type of surface. For every project, I charge a materials restocking fee of 5% of artwork costs. The more information you can provide to me upon outreach, such as dimensions, wall surface, and timeline, the more efficient our estimate process will be and the quicker we can get started!
IMAGERY - My visual focus is primarily plant life, flora and fauna, portraiture and traditional trompe l'oeil with modern twists and vibrant color palettes. If you're looking for a plain wall or simple treatment, look elsewhere! If you want a colorful conversation piece that impresses your neighbors and friends, I'm your muralist :D
