Mr. Loftus is a professional chef who has provided personal culinary services for my husband and myself. As one of two very busy working professionals, I can attest that life is just that much more pleasant when Mr.Loftus has prepared meals for myself and my husband. He is a pleasant, attentive professional who listens very well. He was thorough in his questioning of our culinary preferences and his attention to details has always been very evident. Mr. Loftus is self-sufficient in preparation and in cleanup. Meals are quite lovely and reflect that he listened carefully to our likes and dislikes. We always look forward to the quality of his food & to the attractiveness of his presentations. In addition, Mr. Loftus has provided my company with varied services from casual breakfast meetings to involved dinner events. He regularly hits that right high note which helps to make my meetings memorable. I will definitely continue to avail myself personally and professionally of his services in the future.

This past May my 8 year old Grandson made his 1st Communion at our local Church. While looking for a catering company or a personal chef to prepare a Brunch celebration for family and friends after the service. I came across Chef Matt Catering. I have learned that this small company does both, single events and ongoing personal chef services and I am indeed delighted that I found them. I was pleased with Chef Matt from our 1st phone conversation to the moment I found myself saying a heartfelt thanks to him for a wonderful brunch on our special day. Chef Matt listened conscientiously during our conversations and his subsequent menu suggestions reflected how carefully he had done so. I was pleased at how thoroughly he questioned me about my guests and their food preferences and/or possible allergies. He took time in helping me visualize what the final menu would be and how the food would be presented. He also focused on the "Guest of Honor" making sure that there would be much on the menu that this 8 year old might enjoy. I am grateful that Chef Matt turned out to be as professional in person as he was with me on the phone and in his emails. The day of the 1st communion went very smoothly. Chef matt arrived early with his capable and very pleasant assistant. They set everything up with little assistance needed from me. Everything looked professional and very inviting. When it came time for cleanup they were thorough and my kitchen never looked better. Now for the most important point I would like to make: The food was spot on--JUST GREAT! Thanks Chef Matt for meeting my expectations and then some.

While the majority of my experience has been in restaurant work, I have found this particular line of work to be much more satisfying, because it allows me to connect with my customers on a more personal level.

In home meal preparation, as well as meal delivery. Special occasions including plated meals and especially cocktail parties.
