Introduction: Personally, what I try and focus on when styling someone is what exactly will make that client more confident. I don't want to just dress you in something that I personally like and make you try and be someone that you're not. I will take my time and find examples of things that you LOVE things that you don't love and work out a great equation that not only makes you feel amazing but also still feels like YOU. I absolutely adore running into a client after a consultation and just noticing how confident they are in that outfit we put together. Sometimes, you just need a second pair of eye to make an OK outfit a show stopper!

Working with Catherine was an absolute delight! Together we audited my closet - she helped me identify which pieces of clothing needed to be tossed (read: badly updated) and helped me create outfits I would never have been able to come up with on my own. Catherine's friendliness and straightforwardness made me feel like I was spending the afternoon with a friend rather than doing a chore I had been putting off for ages. I am looking forward to our next appointment when we will fill in the "style gaps" we found and I know she will not steer me in the wrong direction. Catherine did a great job helping me edit my closet and identify the pieces that I should keep vs the ones that were ready to be retired. She's great at helping you use the clothes you already have to bring out your personal style and then makes recommendations for new key pieces that really helped me round out my wardrobe!

Catherine helped me go through my current wardrobe eliminated dated clothes, helping me pair together possible outfits with pieces I already had, and putting together a list of staple items I could add to expand my options. She then shopped in person and online for the staple items from our list, giving me many options in a wide price range.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
This can be an intimidating process, you are after all letting someone into your personal bubble! I recommend you meet the stylist at a Coffee Shop and just discuss what your plan is, is this a full wardrobe consultation or just a special event that you need help with? Feel it out, it's similar to an interview- if you don't have some type of connection or feel at ease with the stylist then find someone else.
