I had been trouble staying motivated and getting to the gym so I decided to sign up for a personal trainer. A friend reccommended Danny highly. After the first session I was really impressed and it helped me stay on track with my diet. I'm currently with him two months later and see results. I have been working with Daniel for about 4 years. Seeing constant Improvement and keeping me healthy. Without having a trainer I don't think I would have made many gains. I had an unfortunate accident about a year ago which caused a spinal cord injury. I was in the hospital for 2 months and then out patient recovery there after. After OT I continued to go back to Daniel. I have seen significant improvements over what I was getting for the last couple months in OT. He always knows the right exercise to make you work hard. I can't even tell a difference except some weakness in my left leg. I really give props to Daniel for helping me through this and continuing to keep me strong. It's great finding a trainer who takes such personal interest in your health. Literally working with Daniel has not only caused me to have Improvements much past what was anticipated by my doctors, but in many aspects saved my life in my ability to continue to walk properly and enjoy life. Folks, I cannot stress this enough. I am someone diagnosed with moderate/severe Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, which caused problems with my immune system, digestion, and weight. I am very proud and humbled whenever I receive compliments about my physique. But, the truth is, it has not always been this way for me, and I could never have done this without my friend and personal trainer of almost 8 years, Daniel T. Saunders. He is one of the best things to happen to my life in terms of the way I look as well as my overall health. I feel better — not just because I look better now — but also because my health is better than before. He helped me with my diet, he's worked with me through my hectic teaching schedule, rehabbed my personal injuries, and he's greatly turned my life around. Let me be clear: Doing it on your own and just getting any trainer at the local gym is NOT the same, and NOT even remotely as effective. The guy is certified in what seems like everything, he works with people of all genders, ages, and skill levels. He's excellent for those with past injuries, and for rehabilitating current/recovering injuries. Whether you're incredibly out of shape, or already active, he will change your life for the better just as he has changed mine. Do yourself a favor: Look him up, and contact him right now. I’ve worked with several trainers and Daniel is hands-down the best. He’s deeply knowledgeable about body mechanics and exercise, and works with you closely to make sure you’re working out in a way that is both safe and really effective. He’s confident and encouraging, he’ll make you work hard, but he won’t shame you or yell at you. I highly recommend him!Oct 13, 2018
Danny is such a professional. His workouts are well planned, interesting, and progressively challenging. I never felt stronger or more confident than when training without Danny. He takes time to explain the theory behind the training and listens to goals and any pre-training issues. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Daniel T. Fitness provides a 12 week barbell strength training program geared towards helping beginners enhance their physical capabilities and improve their health by getting stronger. Whether you want to shed some pounds or look better in your swimsuit, getting you stronger will be the most practical and effective way to help a beginner reach those goals. The pursuit of strength improvement will not only make you stronger but will enhance your lean muscle mass (therefore improving your body composition) , will help improve your balance and coordination, and will improve your self confidence and belief system in yourself and your capabilities. The 12 week strength program is geared towards individuals who are fully committed to improving themselves and are dedicated to the process. Clients must be ready to work hard and prioritize consistent training every week. Clients will receive private 1 on 1 coaching through the entirety of the program as well as nutritional support to help aid there training and recovery. Clients can opt to train in the program 2 days per week or 3 days per week. 3 days is preferred because it will maximize your results and is the standard training frequency to see noticeable measurable results.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Prior to working with a new prospective client , I will direct them to my website DanielTFit.com so that they can first learn more about who I am and the type of exercise programming that I offer. If the prospective client feels that the services that I offer would be a good fit for them and their goals then I ask that they fill out a consultation form. From this point , I will schedule an introductory session with the prospective client. Within this introductory session , we will review the clients specific goals and obtain a better understanding of their current lifestyle habits. Further, we will review their medical history to ensure that they are physically ready to begin a strength training program. Lastly, we will begin providing preliminary coaching on the foundational barbell exercises, squat, bench press, press, and deadlift which will be essential to building strength in the gym. If the client is a good fit for my services, then I will invite them to sign up for my 12 week strength program.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I received my education and training though the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Through this educational institution I received a certification as a Certified Personal Trainer with specializations as a Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist. Further, I received my Medical Exercise Specialist certification from the Medical Exercise Training Institute ( formerly known as the American Academy of Health, Fitness, and Rehab Professionals).
