When I first began my training with Herbert over 4 months ago, I did not know what exactly to expect. Since, I really did not have an active workout schedule in the past, I wasn't totally sure if I would be able to handle his training. But, I'm glad to say finding Herbert was one of the best things I have ever done! He has helped me attain a level of health that I did not think I was capable of reaching. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I will typically receive input from a client regarding their goals in detail. Once we have discussed those I then take my client through an evaluation to assess their current physical fitness. I then begin strategizing what type of program will fit their needs best. Once the program is entirely put together I then have the client complete their first session which will then let me know what kind of adjustments may be necessary. Adjustments can either be making a program more difficult or easier depending on the clients input and reaction following our initial session. From then on we work together to ensure that the program is as efficient as can be!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am an alumni of Towson University where I received my Exercise Science degree. I was also certified through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) where I received my Certified Fitness Trainer certificate. I plan to continue my education through highly accredited establishments such as NASM, NSCA, ISSA, etc.
