After working with Leon for about a year, I am incredibly pleased with the progress I have made. My focus is mainly strength training and he does an excellent job of personalizing our sessions to ensure I see the results I want. He challenges me with our workouts and frequently incorporates new moves and equipment for a more well rounded workout. In addition to training, we also discuss nutrition and he gives me tips to help me stay on track with my diet. He is punctual and courteous, very rarely needing to reschedule - giving plenty of advanced notice in those rare occasions that he does need to reschedule. He is also flexible with my schedule and is able to accommodate the day/time that works best for me which I appreciate! Overall, he is a joy to work with! He is personable and friendly making me feel right as ease. I am happy with the results and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone!

Leon Bournes has been my personal for the past 13 months. I started working out with him, 1 time per week and asking him guidance on food, now I working out with him 3-4 times per week and seek his guidance on food plans and advice on my additional workouts. Over these 13 months, I have lost over 70 lbs and completely changed my diet as well as my approach to working out. I owe all of my success to Leon! I couldn't have done all of this with Leon's support, guidance and encouragement. Leon pushes me to do exercises that I would never try on my own and also helps me to stay motivated when times are tough. I have tried working out with other trainers and none of them have been as helpful to me as Leon. I completely recommend Leon and know that you will get as much out of the experience as I have.

Leon has been my personal trainer for about 3 months. He was the director of personal training at my gym; I had done 2 workouts with him there. I want to be pushed and Leon does that; yet he pays attention to what my body is telling me and adjusts the specific exercise accordingly. He has a great variety of exercises in his repertoire; you truly never know what you're going to be asked to do. He has a friendly and encouraging style that calls out my best. I find him flexible in terms of scheduling. And best of all, I can see the progress that I've made over the last 3 months!

Leon is a focused, consistent and thoughtful trainer yet super fun and motivating! After attending his group trainings once a week I felt an immediate impact on my mood and quickly felt and saw results in my body with more energy, increased strength and better fitting cloths - Yay!

Leon is the type of personal trainer who is a great coach. I've worked with trainers who I felt didn't pay as much attention to my current ability level as he does. I like the fact that he doesn't have a drill sergeant approach, but rather encourages you to go further without pressuring/forcing you. He knows everyone's comfort & ability level in the group class. He willingly demonstrates what you should do if you're not as advanced as others. Leon's techniques enable you to get stronger, more energetic, in a few short weeks - and I feel more confident overall.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    When working with a new client we always start with a free fitness assessment. We get down to the core reason of your fitness journey and what it will take to get there. In addition we do a physical test that will allow us to formulate the right course of action to achieve your goals. From that point we build our clients from the ground up.
