Book Tennis lessons set me up with the perfect tennis pro "Ivan was professional and also enjoyable to learn from. He was able to size up my daughters game quickly and provided corrections that she can take with her beyond the lesson. In one lesson the improvement was amazing!! The best coach ever my daughter say!!!! We are going to be with him for years to come!!!
My husband is really enjoying his sessions with Adriana. He's played tennis in the past and her lessons are teaching him new skills to sharpen his game. Her teaching style is methodical and encouraging. And what I really love about her is she prompt-arriving even 30 minutes before our appointment-how refreshing.
Alex is very professional, communicative and pleasant to work with. My children very much enjoy the lessons and are clearly learning the different skills that Alex is teaching them. We've only had a few lessons, but we are very pleased so far.
John is by far the best technical tennis coach I have ever known. He has got an incredible eye for the game and his coaching style puts you at ease. If you want to get better quickly let john evaluate your game. You won't be dissapointed.
I teach students that are young, usually those from elementary school to high school. I've experienced coaches that are too harsh on their students, thus the students are pushed to the limit of giving up. I incorporate a structured lesson so that the students are enjoying tennis.

Co-founder of Grip The Mat, a yoga events company in Washington, DC, I teach yoga at various locations throughout the DMV area. I found yoga in 2009 as a former dancer. I enjoyed the physical practice similar to dance, but discovered something deeper after transitioning to Washington, DC in 2013. With a hectic work schedule living in a bustling city, I needed yoga for stress management and physical exercise. I knew I wanted to share this healthy practice with others, so I completed the 200-hour teacher training at The Studio DC. Studying with master teachers Bryan Kest and Govind Das, I learned to respect my body and clear my head through tools like the breath. To me, yoga is a source of joy that spreads throughout all aspects of ones life. I strive to continue learning and sharing the practice with others.

Simply put, I am a cook. I graduated from the Hotel, Culinary Arts & Tourism affiliate to AACC just last year and am currently looking for ways to make money from my skills. I am still in search of openings for a regular job as a line and prep cook but in the meantime, I would gladly accept teaching others the basics or intermediate level cooking. Noteworthy, I do not travel to or past Downtown Baltimore at the current time. I prefer local needs but will make some exceptions. I do work part-time at a non-related job, so I would need more than 2 weeks' notice if you need my help on a day that doesn't fall on Monday or Friday (the 2 days I have off from the job). Currently not accepting, will update this page when I'm available again.
I love to teach kids who are starting out with tennis. I am available in the mornings and on weekends. The session includes games to familiarize them with a tennis ball/racket. I teach children ages five to twelve years.

Mary Krause was wonderful!!! She conducted a Zumba session recently at our Health Fair and everyone had a great time--still getting compliments. I will definitely recommend--she had all ages (kids, teens, adults) doing Zumba. The lesson was performed so that everyone could participate. Thanks so much.
