Introduction: Mike Vechery is one of the real estate industry's top brokers. A native Washingtonian, Mike established 1050 Real Estate in 2005. Mike and 1050 Real Estate are licensed in DMV Mike graduated with a BBA(Finance) from the University of Georgia and an MBA from Georgetown University. Mike enjoys golf and video photography in his spare time but mostly enjoys the times spent with his beautiful 14 year old daughter Lauren. I love the client interaction, making dreams happen, and changing my client's lives by helping them make the most important investment purchase or home sale of their lives. Creating great strategies for my clients is also exciting especially when I see it transformed into finding the perfect home for the best price or selling their current home for the highest price.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?On purchases, the seller pays the commission. Often, I pay my client, the buyer, a credit so that some closing costs can be paid. For sellers, my commission to sell is 6%. Depending on the type of sale, I can offer a discount or adjust services to fit the needs of every seller so that they feel they are getting the best deal given my premium services and ability to attract the best buyers and negotiate the highest prices for homes.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I assess their requirement (purchase or sale) given their expectations, timing, budget (s) etc. I then put together a strategy and plan of action to make the goal realizable. I give options and make my recommendation given all available information and the type of client I have before me.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been in the real estate business since 2001 and worked on hundreds of transactions in residential and commercial real estate. I have handled sales, purchases, and leases of all types. I have a background in marketing and negotiations as well as finance so I help my clients in so many different ways during the process. Always enjoy putting together the timing and strategy of a transaction too.
