Introduction: Robert Morris has been serving as a licensed real estate associate and trainer for five years at the Senate Realty Corporation. He works tirelessly for his company, clients, and community. Senate Realty provides real estate services in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia, while continuously striving to become the premier real estate company in the DC metropolitan area. He understands what it takes in today’s market to ensure his agents’ success.   Since 2006, Morris has managed the daily operations of over 17 agents, 267 clients and over $50 million in total sales, personally providing $206,000 in closing subsidy. He is dedicated to the professional development of each agent under his charge, providing one-on-one mentoring and leadership. Robert also contributes to the branding and marketing of the company while building core business through residential clients and small to midsized developers. Prior to this position, Robert served as a deputy chief of DC Protective Services Division Police from 2006 to 2007 where he built a solid network of contacts throughout Washington DC under DC mayors Wiliams and Fenty. As a native Washingtonian, his story is one of achievement, growth, and success. Morris’ tenacity led him to become an expert in several key areas that have contributed to his current leadership position in real estate, including relationship building, business management, and effective negotiation. As a retired marine infantry officer with more than 20 years of service, he is adept at communicating with diverse groups of people. In 2007, Robert was nominated for the Greater Capitol Area Association of Realtors’ rookie of the year award. Morris holds a bachelor of science in applied physics and engineering electronics from Hampton University and a master's degree in public administration from the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs at Southern University and A&M College. In addition to his commitment to lifelong learning, Robert continues to champion education and community. Morris is an active member of the Turning the Page Foundation and His Name is Jesus Ministries. The Turning the Page Foundation links DC public schools, their families and mentors to ensure DC students receive valuable educational resources and a high-quality public education. His Name is Jesus Ministries assists the incarcerated and their families as they reenter the society. Once a month, Robert conducts first-time home buying seminars for the DC Department of Housing to educate the public on the home-buying process, current market trends, and the best deals in the metropolitan area. Morris is currently marketing several condominium and town home projects throughout Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. He currently resides in southeast Washington with his lovely wife of 21 years and their four children.
