This company is exceptionally run. Estimation, contracting, scheduling and execution were all flawless. Work quality was exceptional. Photos attached are before and after shots of the roof and box gutter.

At the outset, I did not hire Wm. McKay, but it was because they did something right, not wrong. Their representatives were honest beyond all belief and expectations. First, they arrived well ahead of schedule saving us valuable time; second, they came prepared to deal with the limited access to the property; third, they assessed the problem promptly and accurately; fourth, they professionally and honestly conceded that the requirements for the job were likely beyond their means to correct; but, fifth, took the time to educate me in the finer details and points of general contracting: assessing the project; the potential contractors; the appropriate materials for the project; the time and costs; and the outcome. It was more than I bargained for, but exactly what I needed. Thank you, Wm. McKay!

I used this team to replace gutters that were left in terrible condition by the previous owner. They repaired significant portions of the fascia boarding while also doing a fantastic job handing the new gutters; they look fantastic. The team left my property significantly cleaner than when they got here, which was a nice touch. They also found a bullet in my roof, which should help address the small leak I'd been noticing. Bill arrived to inspect the property shortly after contacting William Mackay Roofing and took pictures and video of the damage needing repairs. A quote was provided that day and the repair was scheduled shortly thereafter. Workmanship was great and photographs were shared after the work was completed to show the condition of the roof before and after. Very happy with William Mackay Roofing and will be sure to contact them for future roofing needs

The level of service I recieved from William and his team was impeccable. Immediate response to my inquiry, phone call to follow up and work completed within days. I had a sealant applied to my roof and William even took videos of the work and finished product and promptly emailed them to me. They also offered me some advice for a cracking chimney and a temporary fix that was within my spending limits. I would work with them for everything if I could. Honest, reliable and stellar work!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The customers time is most valuable. Working in the District has taught me that many of my clients have busy schedules that can not rely on a roofing emergency. I will set up your free estimate when it is convenient for you! You don't have to be home. I photograph every thing I find and can email it in a packet with your repair/replacement options. When the job is scheduled my team is quick and efficient we get it taken care of as soon as we can.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a third generation roofer. I have attended many contractor conferences. I have studied all local home improvement manuals and licensing programs.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
We are a third generation family owned and operated business. It's been our family's livelihood since the 50's
