I had hired a Waterproofing professional couple of months ago, he did a bad job and there was a leak again in the same place. I had a site inspection and I was informed about the problem and the solution. They shared an estimate which was affordable. These guys have extreme knowledge and problem solving skills. Their experience is incredible and genuine. I would suggest EBRR Property Maintenance Services to anybody in need of any property maintenance requirements.
Matt tiled my bathroom walls and floor. He was very fair in his pricing for his excellent quality of work. He showed up every day for work exactly on time and worked hard to make sure I was happy with his work every step of the way. Of all my years in working with general contractors, Matt's professionalism was my best experience. In terms of his skills with tile, he fixed existing problems with my bathroom in terms of level, tile placement, and severe lippage. When he was done with his work, my bathroom was beautiful! The tile placement gave the bathroom a better sense of space, the floor and walls were level, and there was no lippage. He suggested some aesthetic choices which I went with and the end result was beautiful. Finally, Matt was honest with me in terms of work specialty that he was not comfortable with; that is, I had some aesthetic choices in mind, but he was straightforward with me and said he was unable to do that. I appreciate that honesty, whereas some contractors says they can complete certain special work when, in fact, it's a stretch and does not come out with the quality we hope for. All in all, I would recommend Matt for tile work. He is a strong 5-stars in terms of quality of work, professionalism, and, on a personal level, he is just a very nice man and is easy to talk to.
We hired MJ Home Services to help us out with numerous projects. Waterproofing are basement was the major project. We had visible mold which needed to be removed and then they also put the materials back as well. It's been a pleasure working with them everything was very easy did not feel pressured at all. I would highly recommend this company.
We recently hired Aquaguard Waterproofing to install an egress window at our home. We were not sure how much disruption would be involved. The representative who came to our house was very informative and was well trained in the county code. A word of caution: make sure you hire a contractor when you are doing this type of project that understands the local building code. The amount of work Aquaguard and we went through to satisfy the county requirements was many. We are very thankful that Aquaguard was well verse in this part of the project and held our hand throughout. The production person Jane was communicating with us every step of the process. The workers did an excellent job each day - which took over one week - to install the window and egress well. One of the main points which was a deciding factor on hiring Aquaguard vs. other companies is that they would seal the entire wall. The workers were diligent and experienced and took care of our property. They even replaced all of the drywall that was cut, all we had to do is paint the wall. The overall experience was first rate and well done. We highly recommend anyone who is looking to take on an egress window project to call Aquaguard. They did a great job!!!!
I am a prior military personnel who have traveled within and outside of the United States. Therefore, I can differentiate between businesses that are dishonest (scam artist), and those that are sincere in their efforts to provide remarkable workmanship. I spoke with 6 contractors, excluding God's Glory LLC, who tried to pressure me into signing contracts that didn't address the underlying cause of the water in my crawlspace. I hired Mr. Elendu , the owner of God's Glory LLC, because he is very professional and extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of home improvements and repairs, water/fire restoration along with mold remediation. His customer service is unmatchless-a breath of fresh air. He first defined the underlying cause of the water damages, and carefully explained the best techiques to repair the water damages in the front of the home. He always keep me abreast on any modifications that had to be made. Most importantly, Mr. Elendu listened to my concerns, and he provided the best techiques to repair water damages and prevention of water intrusion into the crawlspace. Mr. Elendu never pressured me into signing a contract. He was readily available to answer any questions pertaining to water restoration, watetproofing, and home repairs or improvements. We had agreed that I would purchase the materials-Mr. Elendu went to Home Depot to get the materials for me, and with the extra materials he waterproofed the side area of the home, without charging me for the services. He meticulously designed a highly effective drainage and waterproof system. I was having difficulty racking the leaves; therefore, Mr. Elendu had his crew racked the leaves for me. This contractor business is the greatest, and almost goes the extra miles to provide outstanding customer service. His prices are competitive. I highly recommend God's Glory LLC to anyone who is looking for a remarkable, highly skilled craftsman. In fact, I will be utilizing Mr. Elendu for any future contracting services.
Mission Home Services' crew did an excellent job of installing an in-slab SafeBasements waterproofing system for an addition that had water leakage problems from day one. It's been raining outside today and so far no signs of a leak. So the job was done properly and is functioning as promised. In fact, I'm so impressed with the work that I'm having Dave, the owner, come out to give me an estimate for a second project at my home. A solid thumbs up for Mission Home Services!
Replaced rotted siding boards, chimney trim, applied calking, and painted new install boards as needed, to blend in with original siding. Chris, was timely on his call backs, to me, on questions I had, made a reasonable quote for the work, verbally guaranteed, I would be satisfied before he left, and was on time on the day, to do the work, which was the day after I agreed on his price quote. To start on my work, he came prepared with all the supplies. Finished the work one hour ahead of time. Chris, calked(to waterproof) and painted a couple of other areas not really part of the work request, to better blend in with original siding at no extra charge to me. Prior to finding Chris though Tumbtack, I searched other independent contractors, not through Thumbtack only to find they were hard to reach, and not good about returning calls, or even keeping a date and time to come look at the work I needed done. I did speak with another contractor referred to me by Thumbtack who was very timely and polite, but troubled me, he would give a price quote without looking at the work to be done, which ,Chris did. I believe Thumbtack makes a good effort to offer only qualified, reputable and honest contractors. I find Thumbtack, Web site for submitting your work to be done request, being a senior, very easy and uncomplicated. Also, upon a response from a contractor, you have his/their contact info, phone number, business name etc, so you deal directly with them. For future work to be done on my home, I will call on Chris Mansour, and his company, Paniz Home Improvements LLC first. Thanks, Don
Description of Work: Excavated bathroom floor to install drain for relocated toilet. Replaced existing bathroom ceiling with drywall. Built custom tiled shower with seat and installed shower doors. Enlarged bathroom door to 30 inches to accommodate future needs of handicapped individual. Relocated toilet. Installed toilet with higher seat for handicapped individual. Installed required traps and vents to meet plumbing code. Arranged for plumbing inspection. Installed new medicine cabinet and relocated light. Installed grab bar for handicapped individual. Replaced door to laundry. Installed new tiled floor in laundry. Installed baseboard in laundry. Installed drop ceiling and modern lighting in laundry. Installed drywall ceiling in living area with recessed LED lighting and dimmer. Painted all existing walls and new installations including doors. Comments: Mr. Lundgren was very thorough in determining our requirements and offered helpful suggestions for dealing with my wife's current and future needs (she suffers from advancing Parkinson's Syndrome). We wanted an accessible bathroom on the lower level with a seat and a hand-held wand for showering. The entry to the bath would not accommodate a walker or wheelchair prior to the remodeling. We found that we would have additional plumbing costs because the existing bathroom was not constructed professionally according to code. It was disconcerting to see our entire floor excavated but the plumber completed his work in just a few days. The subcontractor who did all the tiling, dry-walling and installations other than plumbing and electricity was very talented and had a good idea for design as did Mr. Lundgren. All the painting was highly professional (I have always done my own painting and am hard to please in that area but I found it very satisfactory). The modern lighting installed throughout the basement is a vast improvement over the patchwork approach taken in the past. Everything is bright and clean. We now have a beautiful finished living area and laundry and a beautiful modern bathroom that is very pleasing to my wife and me. We are looking forward to entertaining our friends and extended family. We are a long way towards meeting our needs for a comfortable life as we age and my wife's disease progresses. Squash Blossom accomplished their work in about three weeks less three or four days lost to bad weather. I've heard about contractors who disappear for a week or more. That did not happen here. Mr. Lundgren quickly won our trust. It proved to be well-placed.
Value Dry waterproofing waterproofed our whole basement. We received pricing from other company's who offered to "cut corners" by not doing things such as waterproofing the driveway wall ect. We chose value dray to do the job because their system was better than corrugated piping but not as expensive as other company's with patented basement systems. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We also like that our basement now has a lifetime transferable dry warranty. Who else gives you that?
I interviewed multiple companies. Bill was a straight shooter, and I was drawn to his no BS approach. I am in the real estate business, and I will be sure to refer any friends and clients of mine that are in need of basement/crawlspace waterproofing to Bill and Worldwide Waterproofing.
I was trying to sell the house and need to fix moisture problem and other defects in order to satisfy the inspection. Rick was very quick to answer all of my questions regarding to moisture problem and gave me the reasonable quote. In the end I had to use buyer's contractor in order to close the deal. If I were the one to choose I would definitely have Rich do it.
Recently did waterproofing of my basement with Storm Waterproofing: the part of my basement's under-concrete drainage system had failed and needed to be reconfigured. Robert gave me the Quote which was far more competitive that other 3 Quotes I had (and job description was almost identical). Robert and his crew did excellent job addressing the problem, were prompt and courteous. Highly recommend Storm Waterproofing!
Expert waterproofing! Nice work, thanks!
3D Design Space completed structural work and waterproofing on time and within budget, and they passed county inspections with flying colors. On our last house, they built an addition, including a beautiful master bathroom. They completed that work on time and within budget too, and passed every inspection. We can't recommend this company highly enough. They are professional and courteous and make remodeling a pleasant experience.

Common Questions: (Q) Why am I getting water on only one side of my basement? (Answer) This can vary depending on what type of foundation the building/house sits on: poured foundation. If it's a poured foundation you may have a crack in the wall, which is normally caused when the ground settles beneath the house. Centerblock foundation: Often times water builds up in the cores of the blocks which are formed as the foundation is being built. This causes water to end up on the basement floor.
