FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are no hidden costs or fees. We provide our pricing up front and will recommend the package that best fits your needs. We offer a money-back guarantee of your satisfaction in your agreement.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We encourage a pre-shoot consultation (by email, text, phone or in person) to get a good sense of what you're looking for in your shoot and how, together, we can best design your shoot. We have a special web page where you can upload your "inspiration images" which can be very useful for planning your shoot. We'll work with you on wardrobe selection and can provide a professional makeup artist and/or hairstylist. Usually within 24 hours of your shoot, you'll get access to a secure online gallery of your proofs where you can select the images you'd like to be finely edited. We'll deliver those a few days after you make your selections. Working with our associate lab in New York, we can produce beautiful photo books and other printed products. Please see our web site for detailed information on each step of the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Appeal Photography's founder and lead photographer, David Guggenheim, has been a professional photographer since he was a teenager and photographed the first-born babies of the new year in the Philadelphia area. He has graduate degrees in marine and environmental sciences and has been a wildlife and underwater photographer and videographer throughout his career. His work has been showcased on national and international TV broadcasts and published in a range of magazines. Guggenheim also has extensive training in studio photography, and the combination of outdoor and studio photography experience lends a unique skillset to his work as a boudoir photographer.
